Yes, I drink decaff and other "funny" tea as my DH calls it at home.

It's just if I am out and drink full strength tea in the evening that I can't get to sleep.

I think it would be a step too far to bring my own teabags to the pub.

mawbroon · 12/12/2008 16:58

I quite like Lidl's rooibos tea, they do it in vanilla, caramel and orange flavours too.

Haven't actually had any for ages. Might just stick the kettle on.

nailpolish · 12/12/2008 16:58

i dont see the point of tea unless its bursting with caffeine

i drink 20 cuyps a day and im alright

LOL, you've been conned at my house then naily. Decaff all the way here.

I can drink the hard stuff through the day, but any after about 7pm has me buzzing.

Cheap date eh?

nailpolish · 12/12/2008 17:03

do you have a cup of caffeinated in the mornign then MB

OP posts:
nailpolish · 12/12/2008 17:03

im quite partial to artificial stimulants

OP posts:
mawbroon · 12/12/2008 17:07

No, only have it if I am out somewhere or at somebody elses house.

I don't do a lot of fizzy drinks or chocolate either which I think is why I am so sensitive to it.

I used to drink bucket loads of caffeinated tea before I got pg, and was fine so it is a fairly recent thing.

nailpolish · 12/12/2008 17:08

yuk to fizzy juice and chocolate

you are such a good girl MB - i am weak

I'm starting to feel a bit festive . Took the kids to the winter wonderland too with my mum yesterday and had a ball. Luckily my mum forked out for the merry-go-round fares! Dd is SO excited about Christmas this year, it's very sweet. My mum always cruelly refused to buy us chocolate advent calendars as kids so I got dd and ds one each .

Don't envy you the colposcopy, Liliput. My recent adventures with mirena coil fitting was enough. Why don't men have to put up with all that sort of thing??

Really looking forward to saturday......

Lilliput · 12/12/2008 17:58

Colposcopy was a walk in the park on a sunny day compared to when I had my coil fitted. I do toy with the idea of putting my dh through the snip just for revenge!

ssd · 14/12/2008 08:15

where are you all going on Sat?

nailpolish · 14/12/2008 10:30

what is cruel about not having a choc calendar? i refuse to buy my dds choc calendars. they actually prefer the ones with the picture behind it. dd gets very excited showing me what pics they have got

i have a copper coil and i found the insertion pretty good. i must have a bucket fanny...

Meet up at Cafe Rouge ssd. Do you fancy coming along? I'm sure there will be room x

ssd · 14/12/2008 19:41

where is cafe rouge?

I'm going out in Glasgow that night, could meet up there?

liath · 14/12/2008 21:19

They might tell you they prefer the pictures, nailpolish but the emotional scars from not having a chocloate calendar can be deep, let me tell you .

prettybirdinapeartree · 14/12/2008 21:19

We are meeting at Cafe Rouge in Edinburgh at 8pm (I think) on 20th December.

A few of us from Glasgow will be meeting up at Queen Street to get the train across - probably the 5.30 or 6 o'clock train.

There is also going to be a pre-meal piss-up meet-up at Brambles at 7pm.

sunnygirl1412 · 14/12/2008 22:50

I am really looking forward to this - and I'd love to travel across from Glasgow with you all, if that's ok. When and where will you all be meeting, please?

prettybirdinapeartree · 14/12/2008 23:04

What do you think? 5.45 at Queen Street to get the 6pm train? We'd get to Brambles at about 7pm. Or should we meet at 5.15 and get really pissed have longer to get to know each other?

Last year we just congregated at the ticket booths in the main concourse. I have a bright red long(ish) coat which is quite distinctive.

ssd · 15/12/2008 08:15

have a great night, I'm out that day and I'll be home around 9ish, so can't make it

enjoy yourselves!

aGalChangedHerName · 15/12/2008 08:20

That's a shame ssd. Next time??

CoolYourJets · 15/12/2008 09:04

Agal - have airbed ready for you!

NP -

I have hideous cold and potential ear infection (useless doc) but godammit I am coming!

aGalChangedHerName · 15/12/2008 10:27

Coolyourjets thank you but ds2 has kindly offered to give up his room for Butterfly. Dd2 is in her own bed in her own room so nowhere to put an airbed in there anymore (10 nights and counting) so sorry meant to text you

Are you coming in with me and Dh on Sat? We will need to leave around 20 past 6 i think to get NP and Lilliput.

I am also ill. I feel like i am being stabbed every time i breathe/cough. But i am also def coming!!!

aGalChangedHerName · 15/12/2008 10:29

Oh and NP Butterfly is meeting us at Brambles at 7ish.

CoolYourJets · 15/12/2008 10:43

Need to check with DH re leaving time. at dd2 in own bed! Is she in with DD1? I keep finding mine in the same bed, top to tail style.
