As always i will bow to everyones superior knowledge.

What's the Omni (sp) centre? Friends rave about it?

nailpolish · 09/10/2008 16:26

the omni centre is ok
it has the slug and lettuce which is an over rated pub chain
apparently the tapas bar is quite nice
also has a chinese style place and a couple of others
but i dont know what they are like

Helllloooooo!!!!!! I was deliberately looking for this very thread and NP you have not disappointed me in being the first to suggest xmas night out.
I am also very, very poor and would have to steal a small childs bed for the night.

nailpolish · 10/10/2008 09:07

OP posts:
Lilliput · 10/10/2008 10:55

I've started doing psychology higher to get my brain working again, which I am really enjoying. I start my midwifery course next september. I'm trying not to think about how my life will be in total chaos then and my children brought up by my parents and my husband will be a stranger to me.
I need to make the most of this year so xmas drinkies will be fab!
Where's everyone else?

nailpolish · 10/10/2008 13:56

ooh is it next september
i couldnt remember
where are you doing your higher?

OP posts:
mawbroon · 10/10/2008 15:37

Count me in. I will bring a flask of tea

I went to the Point Hotel a few years ago and a three course dinner was £15. It will have gone up a bit I am sure, but might still be pretty reasonable. Doesn't have anythign on their website though.

We could have dinner there and then go to the lap dancing bars. JOKE
