And welcome to all scousers, and those who live in and near this great city.

the old thread, was too long and tbh had become too acrimonious.

anyone fancy trying baby signing classes in Crosby next Thursday?

joec · 06/04/2005 16:17

is walton flyover near Rice Lane/Blackbull

I'm pretty mobile on buses (buggyspace ones preferred!) or Merseyrail

joec · 07/04/2005 09:59

mummytosteven · 07/04/2005 10:00

sticky fingers is probably a bit far for you - it's an M & T group on Gainsborough Rd, off Smithdown Road near the Asda. It's between town and Allerton.

is there any good soft plays by your end of town? is the wacky near ?aintreen station any good?

OP posts:
biglips · 07/04/2005 10:02

there is a wacky warehouse by aintree station called the Rocking Horse

joec · 07/04/2005 10:04

yes wackey by aintree is good..
there is a mother and toddler in the wackey by me.. pub called "the hilltop"
usually go to that on a wednesday.
got 4 kids .10,6,2 and 9 months..
so take the youngest 2 after older ones have gone into school

fastasleep · 07/04/2005 10:33

Gosh MTS you traveller you! Don't know how you manage all the train rides

mummytosteven · 07/04/2005 10:34

trains are better than buses - noone turfs you off if you have a buggy - I usually get a seat as well, even if it's in the corridor by the loos. virgin trains are quite useless tho for buggy spaces.

OP posts:
fastasleep · 07/04/2005 10:39

Theo hates trains...he screamed and wriggled the whole way to Yorkshire and back...although I spose it was like a 4 hour trip!

joec · 07/04/2005 10:45

so, how many kids do u hav and how old are they?

mummytosteven · 07/04/2005 10:45

just the one, steven (funnily enough) who's 12 months

OP posts:
fastasleep · 07/04/2005 10:47

I just have Theo but am expecting my next in erm...October lol...Theo's 13 months so there'll be a 19ish month difference

joec · 07/04/2005 10:53

i've got rebecca whos 10.
joe whos 7 in june.
eve who is 3 in september and owen who is nearly 10 months.
quite a handful but i love them all to bits

fastasleep · 07/04/2005 10:57

Sounds like a handful - Browny has four as well! You're both brave - I'm scared about having two!

joec · 07/04/2005 11:05

alot easier after your first...
your more relaxed about things and not so scared as you are with your fist..
gets easier with each one.
hard work only having a small age gap.
22 months between eve and owen and it is hard but worth it in the end
