And welcome to all scousers, and those who live in and near this great city.

the old thread, was too long and tbh had become too acrimonious.

Hi MTS,

Don't know if you'll get this in time, but how will I recognise you? I'll be wearing a long, pink cardi with hood - cos I can't seem to get warm these days!

Hope to meet you later.

mummytosteven · 04/04/2005 12:39

hiya, you met me before (briefly!!) i was the one who turned up right at the end last time!!

OP posts:
mummytosteven · 04/04/2005 12:40

fastasleep · 04/04/2005 12:40

Oops sorry...honestly I'm in thick mood today! I won't be there feeling a bit weird, hope you two have fun!

fastasleep · 04/04/2005 12:41

1:30

BROWNY · 04/04/2005 12:42

Hi, oh sorry - I remember now.

It starts at 1pm! Ds is not awake yet, (it's nap time), but I only live across the road.

mummytosteven · 04/04/2005 12:43

aaargh DS has just gone to sleep! think i'll have to give it a miss this afternoon - sorry!

OP posts:
BROWNY · 04/04/2005 12:43

It's definately 1pm, sorry you're feeling yuk Fast, hope to see you both next week eh?

fastasleep · 04/04/2005 12:44

My goodness just hit me over the head I'd be more useful that way!!!

mummytosteven · 04/04/2005 12:45

oh drat we're seeing the IL's next week

so it's gonna be week after

but rest assured I will start turning up - got to make good use of my nice new lightweight easy fold Mclaren

do you fancy meeting up at calderstones park or croxteth park this week or next week?

OP posts:
BROWNY · 04/04/2005 12:45

Never mind! You can never plan anything once little ones come along! I'm going to try and squeeze a hot cup of tea in before ds wakes up.

fastasleep · 04/04/2005 12:46

I'll go next week if I can ...I'll go to the park whenever...I wish there was someone behind me with a cattle prod to make sure I did stuff sometimes!

BROWNY · 04/04/2005 12:52

Fast, stop giving yourself a hard time! Your pregnant, you're supposed to feel tired, so look after yourself and get some rest - sleep as much as you can - you've got to look after yourself! You'll soon get some energy back and be back to (almost) feeling yourself!

BROWNY · 04/04/2005 12:53

The park sounds great, but I don't drive (yet), so Calderstones or the Pub in the Park is nearer me (any excuse for a coffee or even coffee and snack!).

mummytosteven · 04/04/2005 12:54

where's the pub in the park?

OP posts:
BROWNY · 04/04/2005 13:00

It's in Clarke's Gardens, on Springwood Avenue just opposite the cemetary and next to the Crematorium. The Pub in the Park, is an old mansion that is now a very nice pub and sells delicious food, there is a swingpark/slide area too!

mummytosteven · 04/04/2005 13:02

right, will get my trust a -z of liverpool out

fastasleep · 05/04/2005 11:05

Hey girls - it's such a beautiful day! And here I am only just waking up enough to post on here I hope you're getting up to more fun things..... I still have to clean the house lol - aint gonna happen!

mummytosteven · 05/04/2005 11:08

well exciting activity for today is going to Boots and getting some micropore tape for s's thumb (according to the collective wisdom of MN, taping it up is the best way of sorting it out).

and of course going to Oxfam to dump my book pile

and trying not to spend money but that might be doomed to failure!

OP posts:
fastasleep · 05/04/2005 11:11

Theo keeps climbing onto the desk and pulling daddy's expensive speakers off so I think I might shove him in the garden....oh if only I had some reins and a big pole!! Still not eaten his breakfast though... and if I sit in the garden I'll fall asleep again lol

mummytosteven · 05/04/2005 11:13

ten foot barge pole do!

i've plonked s in front of a teletubbies vid while I get dressed - so why am I sitting here in my bath towel on the computer

OP posts:
fastasleep · 05/04/2005 11:14

I was thinking of buying that swingball thing with the silly balls attached to a pole that you shove in the garden...I could like tie Theo to it...hours of fun...
