And welcome to all scousers, and those who live in and near this great city.

the old thread, was too long and tbh had become too acrimonious.

Hello you two, I'm here but haven't posted anything as there's been no-one to post to!!.

Hope Theo's little cousin is well now and out of hospital and Biglips, have you tried Rapid Wallpaper shop, they've usually got a nice selection, other than that it's just John Lewis in town.

Well I'm sort of back anyway so it doesn't matter lol... got a stonking chest infection and I'm finding breathing hard at the moment so not getting out at all! Also Theo's little cousin is very sick in Alder Hey, so keep sitting by the phone waiting for updates!

Hope you're all ok

Hiya Biglips,

I went to Chester Zoo once on the train (while 8 months pregnant!), I had to get the train from Central Station to Bache Station (the nearest station to Chester Zoo). There is a bus stop outside the station, that goes directly to Chester Zoo.

I'd ring the train station helpline to ask if the shuttle bus is running on a Sunday, just to make sure as it is a very, very, very looooong walk!!

Report
biglips · 22/04/2005 10:57

Report
BROWNY · 18/04/2005 10:13

Hi Fast,

I've e-mailed you, I know how much time sitting here can take and I know it is addictive, got to try and cut down myself, but it's soooooo hard!

I'll e-mail you later, to see how you've got on at your scan - lots and lots and lots of luck!

Report
fastasleep · 17/04/2005 19:27

Ello again, browny... just to let you know I think I might be giving this place a wee rest for a bit...I'm too tired to be sat here frittering away all my time....

do please email me tho so we can still talk and arrange meets!! And if you have MSN you can add me or vice versa - [email protected] anyone else who fancies a meet feel free to email me too

It's nothing personal! I'm just a post-a-holic!

Ds has just started to wake up and I haven't tidied up or ever done the breakfast dishes - mumsnet is starting to make me very lazy! I'm going to put the kettle on for a quick cuppa, get j dressed and go for a walk somewhere - the sun's coming out - I think

We've taught Theo to do silly things - to click his tongue, to blow raspberries... to vibrate his lips and go 'BrRRrrrRRrr'.....and clap his hands...hand clapping is the only one that doesn't make him look really silly!

Report
BROWNY · 13/04/2005 12:29

I know! The things Daddies teach their babies - J's dad is trying to teach him to make that 'pop' sound from your mouth with your finger, mind you, saying that I taught him to make the sound for a lion yesterday - I was so proud!

Report
FastasleepTheInsomniac · 13/04/2005 12:19

Its because Theo and Daddy play the monster game where Daddy crawls on the floor behind Theo and every time Theo turns to look at him they both go 'GRRRRRRRRAAAAARGH!!' it's turned him into a hooligan!
