My little man has got ANOTHER cold It's only been two weeks since his last one. He's been coughing and spluttering all day bless him and not sleeping again. Is it normal to catch this many colds? If there's ever anything going around, he seems to get it.

I'm all proud of myself at the minute. I've made a really good start on the Christmas shopping, and ordered Lukes stocking and 1st Christmas bauble God help them if they got it wrong at the scan, and he turns out to be a girl I'll make an almighty mess of something, it's too unlike me to be this organised

Something has upset Taz's allergy and he really smelt today so I sneaked him upstairs for a bath It was raining outside and it would have been cruel to do it out there!
We're good. I've been doing bits and bobs today but I don't feel like I've got anywhere.
I'm not sure if Hiccy will be going to her playgroup tomorrow if her DS is ill, so I might go to one near me (on the main road from town) tomorrow afternoon - do you fancy coming too?

Ive got Midwife tomorrow afternoon, not Thursday.....Only day I can go out now is Friday.

Just really cant be bothered to do anything but housework needs doing.

It's nice being back online, but very faffy sorting all these wires out to do it each time.

Sorry Wot, i can't take monster tomorrow. He'd happily go, i think he's going stir crazy in the house, but i don't think the other little ones would appreciate him sharing his germs. He's driving me crackers at the minute, he gets really bored in the house, and being ill on top of it just brings out his destructive streak, he threw his toy piano at me this morning and it flipping hurt! The dogs have been avoiding missiles all day Think i'll take him to choose some paint from B&Q in the morning, at least we'll get out

Is anyone planning to go to that first aid course on Friday? It'll be my first ever proper outing without Ben I'll probably still keep looking around for him

I'm not going to the first aid course because I shall have the monster. But I am going to a Book Start thing first thing in the morning (hence 11.30 for CM) - it's a Pirate theme so it should be good fun

My work looks like it should be sorted soon. My union are dealing with it on my behalf. It seems to be bothering Jon an my doctor more than me! Jon is all stressed about money but I refuse to worry about it!

It's DS's birthday on Monday 27th October - my neice will be with use for a few days but Jon's dad has said he's not coming (dunno why and don't care! ) and I don't think my parents will be well enough to come, so I was thinking about maybe meeting you guys on the Monday morning, about 11, probably at Cheeky Monkeys. If you can make it, please write it in your diaries! Knickers, being in labour would be a valid excuse not to come!

Wot - thats half term week and is one of the busiest half terms for us all

Hiccy - Josh caught every bug that passed him - hes still bad for colds (or man flu as he turns into Damian when hes ill) He has one of the healthiest diets I know and regulary eats 10 - 15 portions of fruit & veg a day (unlike his dad ) Have you tried giving him a probotic yoghurt drink, he has them now and I must admit he seems to be a little more resilient .....

Has anyone heard hows Chloe ?

Chloe came home from hospital today. They've had to take her back tonight though cos there's a leak of some sort on her tube and it's been weeping quite a lot. Trace didn't think they'd be keeping her in but i haven't heard from her so not sure what's happened at the hospital.

for been back online Hiccy, it's awful not having it isn't it? Yay for christmas shopping too. I've already bought a lot of pressies too and got all cards and wrapping paper etc. I've bought some crafty things today and i'm gonna set ds on making some gifts for the olds

Hi all Got bored this afternoon and Dennis slept into the start of the toddler group that I was going to brave going to, so I went to Cheeky Monkeys. Lots of good offers started now - I got there at 3pm and paid £4.75 for entrance, DS's dinner and a drink for him. Not bad! He had a whale of a time so he'll hopefully sleep a bit better tonight - he's teething.

That's a good deal.

I was going to brave toddler group tomorrow but it has been cancelled. So going to have my lie-in
