Nbg · 17/11/2008 15:50

Am ok thanks Trace.
I'm coming to Barnsley for the day next month. Is it sad that I'm excited about it?

Hows Chloe doing?

ToThrottleABlackBird · 17/11/2008 15:51

Nbg · 17/11/2008 15:52

ToThrottleABlackBird · 17/11/2008 16:00

I think I saw you post a few times on some of the old threads before everyone dissapeared!

wotulookinat · 17/11/2008 16:26

Oooops sorry

Phoenix · 17/11/2008 19:40

Thanks everyone

Hi nbg - I've done your trick from the other year. I've got take that tickets for June 28th and i'm due mid July

wotulookinat · 17/11/2008 19:44

Does that mean you will be looking to sell them, Phoenix?

Phoenix · 17/11/2008 19:50

I don't know. I really really don't want to but don't know if it's wise to still go. I've got a seated ticket so that's not a prob but not sure if it'll be too loud, baby's can hear in there can't they

wotulookinat · 17/11/2008 19:55

Yes they can - I remember Dennis doing summersaults (or it felt like that!) in my tum when people clapped at the award ceremony at school when I was 6 months preggers - but that could well have been at the sudden shock of the noise every so often - the noise at a concert would be more constant and less shocking.
Decide nearer the time - you never know, baby might be born by then!

Friendlypizzaeater · 17/11/2008 22:13

Went to see Will Young and the rest of the people (sad can't remember the rest of them in his competition) when 8 mths pregnant, DS kicked and kicked all night but nothing too bad, I put a big bag on my tummy to deafen the sound a bit

hiccymapops · 17/11/2008 22:21

Friendly i keep meaning to ask you how your pooch is doing? Has he settled in?

ToThrottleABlackBird · 18/11/2008 09:48

Morning everyone.

Phoenix · 19/11/2008 09:52

Morning

Had a phone call from a pre school this morning and ds has got a place from January for 2 mornings a week

ToThrottleABlackBird · 19/11/2008 10:17

Thats good Phoenix
How you feeling?

Phoenix · 19/11/2008 10:33

Fine thanks. Still mega paranoid and tired and a little bit sick. I never had any sickness with ds

How're you and the kids?

ToThrottleABlackBird · 19/11/2008 11:10

I didn't have sickness with dd but did this time round. Just try and get as much rest as possible. We're all good ta. Dd sat watching itng and ds feeding, again.

wotulookinat · 19/11/2008 12:44

Good news about the school place, Phoenix. A lady from the council or somewhere was at playgroup this morning and gave me info about the pre-schools local to here. I shall give them a ring soon and have a look at a couple before I decide. Did you have a look first? Not sure what to look for really!!!

Phoenix · 19/11/2008 19:30

Yeah i had a look at a few but didn't have a clue what i was looking for really. The one that he has got a place at is apparantley a good one and Trace's ds went to it.

Nbg · 19/11/2008 20:24

Lol at the take that trick
It worked twice for me!

For the last tour, my due date was 28th Nov and the concert was 16th of Dec. DD and DS1 were both late so I couldn't risk it and even if he had arrived on time, the last thing I would have wanted to do was go to a concert 2 weeks post natal. Although dh said I should go
As it turned out ds2 was 8 days late so I was very glad I sold the tickets.

If I were you I wouldn't go, but then again I am a miserable witch that aches from head to toe the second I get a blue line

hiccymapops · 20/11/2008 12:00

@ Nbg being a miserable witch while being pregnant, i'm sure my hubby would put me in the same category It would help if he didn't wind me up so much though, just by being there at the minute apparently

Phoenix, if you're feeling sicky, a few people i know have used those wristbands for travel sickness while pregnant. I got some to try, but i'm really funny with veins, and i didn't like something pressing into them all the time, but i gave then to my friend and they seemed to help her.

Hope everyone's okay

wotulookinat · 20/11/2008 12:23

We're ok. DS has had a cold and the worst of it was overnight - he sweated bucked (so I changed his bed this morning) and there was snot everywhere. Luckily for me he only wanted Daddy in the night
I let DS sleep as long as he wanted this morning, until 9, thinking he would be poorly today. Rang the children's centre to say we wouldn't be attending our course this morning at 9.30 because he was ill, and DS woke up as right as rain! No snot, nothing. Strange.

hiccymapops · 20/11/2008 12:31

Oh bless him Wot. I'm not sure if monster's coming down with something, he kept getting up all through the night and getting on his chair chattering away, so i gave in at 4 and took him to bed with me. He eventually dropped off about 5, and slept till 9!! So it's thrown me out all day now, we're usually up by 6:30 at least. I'm assuming he'll fight an afternoon nap now and be a monster till bedtime!

Hope Dennis is okay xxx

wotulookinat · 20/11/2008 12:33

Oh dear. Dennis won't sleep in our bed - he gets all excited and jumps on it
He's currently playing with a musical caterpillar thingy in his room and talking to his doggie.

hiccymapops · 21/11/2008 14:18
