Glad he's better Wot Ben's got a little cold, but he's driving me mad as we've not left the house since Wednesday, so i'm off to annoy my gran for a bit.

I'm fine thanks, just panty and waddly, i've decided i'm too pregnant to cook tea today, so i've asked Mark to call in KFC on his way home

We didn't go out yesterday because Dennis was ill, and haven't been out today. But we are going for an exciting trip to Sainsbury's when Jon gets back.

Ooooo wont be long now Hiccy. ds's head didnt engage till I was in labour.

He loves his bed, but he keeps getting out of it throughout the night and his new thing is shoving his hands down his nappy, so he ends up wetting all his pjs and we have to chang him and sometimes his bedding through the night. Do you think i'm being a bit optimistic hoping we'll get this sorted before bumpster gets here?

How are you all doing Blackbird? Have you managed to get into any sort of routine yet?

have you got a popper vest you can put him in to stop him being able to get to his nappy?

where has everyone gone? I am going to tentatively suggest a meet for Tuesday 2nd December - somewhere that is bus-able for Blackbird. Would be great to see everyone - can Trace make it too? haven't seen her for agggeeesss.

2nd Dec is my day off so think i can go somewhere. Not sure it's bus-able but what about Funworld in Mapplewell.

I've never been to Funworld, but I would love to give it a try! Phoenix, have you been to Xplore at Xscape? It's lovely and just the right sort of stuff for your DS - my DS loved it.

KFC yummy. I haven't had one for about 12 years - before I went veggie, which I am now not anymore.
Xplore is really nice. It's £2.99 during the week, and there is free squash, and some kind of activity thing, which is staffed. While we were there, it was cake and biscuit decorating - which meant I didn't have to buy DS any food while we were there

(can you tell that I'm getting bored of Cheeky Monkeys? I'm a bit sick of the miserable staff there)

F*king sht Barnsley KFC have got no chicken fillets and no chicken at all for half an hour . They decide to tell dh after he's queued 20 mins and got to the front to put his order in. Do they not know i'm starving??? There's another KFC in town so he is trying that one now cos i already told ds that daddy had gone for some popcorn chicken.

No baby yet Phoenix, i'm not due for another 2 weeks, but the midwife doesn't think it'll wait that long Hope you got your KFC.

Wot, i'm struggling like mad to find sleepsuits/anything that does all the way up, in Bens size. I ordered some fleece sleepsuits from Mothercare, but when they arrived, they look too warm, and it says on the wash label -not to be slept in- They were the only things i've found so far to fit the long little monkey, i had to get sizes 3-4, because he's big for his age. Anyway, i've cut the feet off so they won't be as warm, and we'll see how we go. He'll do anything to have us spend the night in his bedroom with him

I'm absolutely shattered.

Lewis had hf&m it's awful for them. Hope she gets well soon. As soon as we got meds from GP his mouth cleared up in a few days.

Maybe that's not what Dennis has then, Blackbird, because he hasn't been too bad. He's got a nasty cold, but there were never any things around his mouth that I could see, although he had a bit of a rash elsewhere. He certainly wasn't ill enough to go to the doctor. Could it be that he had it a bit and your dd has got it worse?

Hiccy, I've never put DS to sleep in a fleece sleepsuit because I thought it would be too warm, but I know you can get them in big sizes - I saw some in Barnsley market that went up to age 5 - 6! I've never seen popper vests bigger that a 2-3, but I did once see 'extender' bits that go on the poppers to make them longer, if you get what I mean. Probably still wouldn't make a 2-3 vest big enough though. Dennis is already growing out of the 2-3 vests and he's not as tall as your DS.

Yes it was nice, a cross between baileys and tia maria - currently on offer at asda 2 for £20 b ut if you can get to a Tesco they are doing the 1 litre bottle for £8
