Oh Trace Sending you all loads of love and hugs xxx

Knickers, i'm not sure which way you come into Wakefield, but Mark's just rung to tell me to avoid going through Sandal way, because the roadworks as you get to the lights into Wakefield are causing a huge traffic jam already. Just thought i'd let you know.

No, it's the ones before those so you should be okay.

wotulookinat · 12/09/2008 11:08

Sorry Hiccy and Knickers for not coming this morning - not been very well

Trace - poor little thing! What happened? I hope she gets to go home today. Please keep us informed.

Phoenix · 12/09/2008 11:27

Morning

Sorry I didn't come either. I had all intention of coming for an hour or so before work but ds is asleep in his pushchair. It might be a good idea for him to get a nap in anyway cos we're hoping to be setting off between 5am and 6am tomorrow . I've got most of the packing done while he's been asleep though which is good so we can get to bed early-ish tonight.

I might get online while i'm away to see what's happening . We're taking dh's laptop cos we think there is a wireless connection where we're going, if we can work out how to use it that is .

Wot - hope you feel better soon

wotulookinat · 12/09/2008 11:50

Thank Phoenix - I'm pretty sure that it's just a tummy bug but I feel really rotten.

Phoenix · 12/09/2008 11:53

Wot - What size shoe is ds?

wotulookinat · 12/09/2008 12:02

He's a 6 at the moment.

Phoenix · 12/09/2008 12:07

Does he need any wellies in a size 6? Or your ds Hiccy? I got some off mumsnet for free (just paid p&p) but ds is a 7 when i thought about it, so i had to buy some and the others have just come.

wotulookinat · 12/09/2008 12:10

We're ok for wellies, but thank you anyway. DS has a pair with spiders on and they are his favourite shoes. We got them in a massive bundle of stuff, and thankfully he's too little to realise they have someone else's name written in them! He wears them everywhere, which can be a bit embarrassing.

Phoenix · 12/09/2008 12:29

Ok

Hiccy are they any good to your ds? They are plain blue with red soles.

hiccymapops · 12/09/2008 13:44

Hello

Thank you for a lovely morning Knickers and thanks again for Bens card and pressie. The little stealythief is still sleeping

Sorry you're not well Wot, hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the offer Phoenix, but Ben's 8 and a half shoe. You could use his shoes as boats already

Morning everyone

Hope you have a good holiday Phoenix

Mark has taken the hounds to the groomers, so me and monsterchops have peace for a bit

Is anyone going on that parents first aid course that's advertised on Netmums? I wished i'd gone on one before i had Ben, and i've looked all over for one since i had him, i can't believe they're so hard to find! The only place i managed to find that would do one, i had to organise myself, including booking the hall and parents, then someone would've come and held the course! (and i don't know that many parents!) But hey ho, 2 years late i'm finally going on one I'll be more prepared for No2

Hope everyone has a good weekend xx

I missed out on the First Aid course run as part of my post-natal thing because I went back to work. I must have missed the ad on Netmums. Nevermind.

Just a quick hello from Cornwall

It's lovely where we are and the weather has been fab today

Hope you're all ok

wotulookinat · 14/09/2008 17:13

Hi Phoenix have a great time!

wotulookinat · 14/09/2008 19:21

Hiccy and Knickers - I've had an email back from the lady who is organising the first aid course, and she said lots of babies will be there but seemed seem overly-keen about a kid of DS's age being there - will you both be taking your DCs?
