Are we still planning to meet if it's pissing down. I hate the rain (wimp emoticon)

Where abouts is the East gate? I don't know the Botanics.

How long does everyone plan to stay that afternoon. DH will be dropping me off and is wondering whether to go and do something or head home for a while.

The long-range forecast isn't too bad for monday . This is horrible though, I can't think of anywhere indoors to go with the kids that won't be full of massed soggy tourists!

Agal - the east gate is off Inverleith row. If the weather's Ok I'd probably stick around for a couple of hours so the kids get a decent run around.

Ok so where is the North gate?

liath · 07/08/2008 16:31

Well....

It's sort of north-west from the east gate, north east from the west gate and north of the south gate......

Sorry .

It's on Inverleith Place I think. I've usually found a meter spot easily enough near the east gate, though. The west gate was closed last time I was there.

HTH (sort of!).

SirDigbyChickenCaesar · 08/08/2008 15:23

is anyone else taking the bus?

nailpolish · 08/08/2008 15:25

im taking the number 21

it goes practiclly from my hosue and i get off at ferry rd and walk down to the nth gate

agalch why dont you get the train? it hardly takes any time at all. ill mmet you off it if you like at haymrket. the girls will love the train!!!!!!!

or get dh to drop you at my house
