I've just seen the Brighton piss-up thread and thought - oooo, that'd be nice.

Anyone else fancy meeting up in Birmingham for a meal/drink/whatever one evening?

I'll happily organise, so now we need dates. We could go for August/September time or earlier.

Any takers?

Tink - I feel so and for you. I must admit at the moment I don't really feel like organising another one, but maybe just a select group sometime in the near future.

Hi NA, glad you decided to get out for a bit.

Don't worry too much about me, it's just around the corner from home anyway.

nappyaddict · 09/09/2008 00:43

hi there when is the next meet up ladies?

TinkerBellesMum · 15/10/2008 19:19

I was just looking on this board to start a new meet up thread. We need to arrange something soon and a Christmas one I think.

TinkerBellesMum · 15/10/2008 19:26

I've posted a thread about Christmas, shall we carry this one on to arrange another get-together in the mean time?

TinkerBellesMum · 28/10/2008 23:26

I've been thinking about things coming up and was wondering if anyone wanted to arrange some family events.

Next Wednesday is Bonfire Night. I've been looking and there are two official one's in Birmingham at Pype Hayes and Edgbaston Cricket Ground. There's also one at Hall Green Dogs. There doesn't seem to be many arranged ones this year, or they're not online.

Also coming up we have Victorian Night at The Black Country Living Museum.

I think if we can arrange something for those two and have a Christmas meal in between them we could have some nice outings to look forward to.

Anyone?

TinkerBellesMum · 01/11/2008 23:31

Bumping this one too. I need something to look forward to!

mum2go · 05/12/2008 11:40

anything been organised with the run up to xmas or new year now cheers

mum2go · 10/12/2008 00:58

hi when,s the next one happening?

TinselBaublesMistletoe · 10/12/2008 01:04

I've been trying to plan something but not getting any responses. I had hoped we could have an evening at the Black Country Museum when the Victorian nights are on (there's another thread about it) and take our children too. Also trying to arrange a Christmas meal (again another thread on that).

I think there have been some bad experiences in the last year of meets (people not turning up and events being cancelled that people had put a deposit on, which is why I've tried to arrange some more open events that don't rely on deposits or other people) and it's put people off meeting up.

mum2go · 14/12/2008 19:08

hi sorry to see you have been having so many problems and people have laost interest or been unreilable.

The day out at the black country museum sounded a good idea, maybe during the easter hols now we could all try that.

As i haven,t been on here for so long i don,t know who,s who anymore and the site dont help by not allowing free private messagening to others.

i,ll try and find the other threads

thanks for helping cheers

the black country thing is a christmas event, but they do do traditional events through the year so we could try for easter too.
