Oh liath! Thank you for making me laugh this morning with your post I was a bit grumpy as DS woke at 5am as predicted, but wanted up from 5.30am onwards. You know, relentless whinging and requests for Ready Brek. DH's way of dealing with ds's request was to eff off into the spare bed which doesn't even have any sheets on it at the moment. Must be nice to just be able to pick and choose the nice parts of being a parent. He has man flu which no doubt he will use as his defence.

Oh god i am soooo hungover. I haven't been that drunk for a very very long time

Bits of the journey home are missing from my memory and i slobbered all over ds1 and his gf who were still up when i got home.

Was really nice to see you oldies and meet you new floks. Hope we do it again soon!!

Arrived home to very apologetic dx "I'm really sorry, didn't want to drag you away, you'll think I can't cope now", so I've very generously promised that I'll try to go out more so that he can prove he can cope!

Looking forward to meeting up again, with and without children! x

Dh has made comfort food for dinner. Lamb stew and mash.
I always vow that I won't drink too much then somewhere along the line it all goes wrong. I not very good at self restraint.
I probably shouldn't have driven back home this morning, god I don't want to think about it. Thankfully dh wasn't at work today so him and the kids were out when I got home at about 12 and didn't come home until 3, so I just went back to bed.

I am going to iron the dc's school uniforms and have a soak in the bath and straight to bed. I aim to be asleep for 8.30pm at the very latest.

DH will do the girls bedtime (as always) and stay up to get ds1 from work.

I am not normally such a piss head honestly. Don't now what happened last night

Apologies if i was an arse/offended anyone etc etc.

Ooooh, felt seriously rough all morning. Thank goodness DH was around to get up with the kids.

If anyone ever sees me about to buy a bottle of fizz again after that many bottles of wine please slap me.

Apologies also if I was spouting crap & especially to Mawbroon as I was slurring away on the way home about goodness knows what .

hi girls what a laugh saturday was

i found myself back in whighams the next afternoon - i had left my purse there - oops! couldnt find it yesterday and then couldnt believe my luck when i phoned the pub and they had it. when i went back in a was so tempted to order a hair of the dog but i didnt. that woul dhave been a bit sad now wouldnt it?!

lilliput i promise to be a better hostess next time - i couldnt evenlift my head off the couch to say cheerio!

Do you remember NP? You went to sit on a chair and missed lol. Well i am pretty sure it was you.

I have a really sore shoulder and arse too. Apparently i fell over in my bedroom when getting ready for bed. Ds1 had to come up and see if i was ok and gave me a wee help to get into bed. Oh the shame DH said i was up puking which i cannot even remember.

Next time i am on water like MB!!

lilliput and i decided that the killer is staying in the one pub. i dont think i went to the toilet more than once! the rest of the time i was sat on my arse

you just drink and drink and drink - and bottles are worse becuaes you just keep refilling

i rather like afternoon tea, liath! what a great idea (pimms, anyone?)

I was at dd1's nursery fundraiser disco thingy the week before. Prob had as much to drink but had nibbles to munch and had a boogie so wasn't anything like as pissed.

I reckon i had alcohol poisioning. Good job i only bf dd2 2x per day now.

Hello last as usual - apologies if I offended anyone by leaving to meet other friends - (a) they were putting me up for the night and (b) well I was clearly pissed (really Gomez I hear you all say we would never have guessed... and when a drunken girl decides she is on a mission then she had to get on with it!

I had a great time - and did continue to drink later which was clearly not a good plan as Sunday was a slow and painful day!

Sorry Liath for boring you to death at one point - I have a faint memory of that earlish in the evening.

Can we please do food the next time??? Actually Nailly keep those McD vouchers that would sort us all out.....

LuXander it was nice to meet a new face. Please come again, don't let us scare you away. We don't always get that drunk - actually not is not true we do .
