Ds had his first infestation just beofre we went off skiing

... and he managed to infest me too - but I think only just, as I seem to be clear with just conditioner and combing, wheaeas ds had to have conditioner, coming and two lots of insecticide stuff before I was confident he was clear.

Now being combed weekly! (and I comb my conditioner thorugh obessively in the shower!)

No not really - took up the Maths homewrok with his teacher but he still not really being stretched, at leasdt on the basis of the homewrok he gets. Lots of it, but far too easy. The last few weeks have been adding and substracting up to 20 (ie the sum is never more moe than 20). he could do that a year ago.

Dh is going to take it up with the head next week, as he was meeting her anyway. We get the impression that they have their doubts about her anyway.

The recent Scottish Mumsnet meet-ups do seem to have been piss-ups. I blame Gomez - she started it with the pink prosecco at Tigerlily!

oooo we'll have to do Tigerlily at the August meet-up...........couldn't have afforded it last weekend - but I'll start saving now so we can have a hoot

Yes they are NP - we'll be tasting loads while we are out there - purely for educational purposes for dh of course .

Dh is even staying on for an extra week's "wine boot camp" with his mentor, in preparation for his exams.

Do they serve tea at Tigerlilly

mawbroon how is ds today?

He's not bad thanks. Had a crap night though. he is just a bit snuffly until he goes to bed and then the coughing starts. Last night around 10.30 he coughed so much that he was sick, all over DH!! DH insisted that JOhnny come into bed with us, so of course nobody got any bloody sleep at all....

why is it you think they are ok then they lie down and start coughing?

he is such a star, he just toddles about, uncomplaining, with a wee smirk on his face give him a hug from me

DD1 at docs today and given 2 more reliever inhalers and more ab's.

Doc said if she has another chest infection in the next 6 to 8 weeks as she has been doing she will send her for x-rays and refer to pead.

From past experience with ds1 i have little to no faith in docs (other than present one who is lovely)so hope it all goes away!!

I hope your dd is on the mend soon agalch. I would be a disaster if I got one thing after the other like toddlers seem to get. We are going away the week after next, so I hope ds is fit for it!

Nope, nowhere hot agalch. Dublin for a couple of nights to see some friends. I bet it pisses with rain the whole time we are there....

Oh god dd1's nursery has a fundraising night out for the mums coming up on the 12th of April. Would it be really bad if i didn't go to it and came out with you ladies instead?

dd1 was most upset the other day cos a little girl called her a mink(sp)meaning a minger i suppose. Told her to ignore and little girl didn't mean it lol
