Hiya, just thought I'd mention that tomorrow night on Channel 4 at 9pm there's a programme called 'Pramface', it's a sort of behind the scenes look at the Liverpool Women's Hospital .

biglips · 12/03/2008 11:13

ooh thanks browny - i will try and keep awake till then im usually fast asleep by 9pm!!

JaamyButty · 12/03/2008 12:43

Hello all!

Feeling really ill here. It's liek I've got constant morning sickness but without the pg! Am I coming out in sympathy with browny, MD and BL??

Browny - hope the bloated feeling doesn't last too long. Can't imagine you get too big when pg? Make sure you get some rest - I know it must be difficult with all your DCs. Is DH still at home? I bet he's spoiling you rotten! How's he doing?

Thanks for tip off on LWH program. having seen it first hand (twice...well three times if you count going in for hyperemesis gravidarum plus test etc) 'twill be interesting to see which parts the show and which are (creatively) missed out!

browny · 12/03/2008 13:07

Jammy!! Hi!!,

Sorry you're feeling so ill, do you think it's food poisoning? Take some gaviscon tablets they're brilliant, hope you feel better soon.

Dh is still of work, he's due back this Monday, but we're going away to Prestatyn for four days on Monday, he had booked a few days off weeks ago before his dad passed away - so he can either stay off sick for another week and not be paid for Good Friday/Easter Monday Bankholidays or go into work Monday, take us to Prestatyn and stay two nights with us then go back to work and collect us on Thursday afternoon, he's not sure what to do yet.

Jammy, what was the hyperemesis gravidarum plus test for?

JaamyButty · 12/03/2008 13:41

Hi Browny!

I thought it was food poisoning - went to Belle Vue to the Grey hound racing on sat night and the food was minging. Started being sick on Sat night. Spoke to Nemo yesterday and she said she had same plus feeling like morning sickness without being pg. Am on day 7 of AF now which is unusual for me so wondering whether an early m/c?

Can't take gaviscon tabs - make me gag!

Was in womens for 3 days due to dehydration from hyperemesis gravidarum (constant morning sickness) when pg with DD2. And was in and out prior to getting pg with DD1 for fertility tests. So, with having had both girls there, have seen pretty much most of LWH! Both were overdue so was in and out for sweeps, false labour, BP monitoring, etc. Strange since Whiston Hosp is about half a mile from home and would be much more convenient!

Hope next week works out ok. Think weather will have calmed down by then. The break would prob do your DH the world of good but then he would prob only be worrying about loss in pay (if anything like my DH). Difficult to say. Would he be ok at home by himself? Would he like the space or miss you all when he got home from work?

Been meaning to ask...how's DS2 getting on with nursery?

Lulumama · 12/03/2008 17:43

thanks jaamy..hope you get that BFP soon......

congrats to all teh pregnant ladies, plllllllllleeeeeeeeease spread the word about baby day !! even if you are going to LWH..

browny · 13/03/2008 10:39

Hi Jammy, how are you feeling today? It does sound like it was something you ate, I was exactly the same a couple of weeks ago, after a chinese meal, it had a softly cooked fried egg on the top , I had stomach pains all that night and threw up constantly the next day, didn't feel really better until after about a week!.

Sounds like you do know LWH inside and out, it'll be interesting to watch the programme tonight, but I've no idea why it's called 'Pramface'!!.

How's everyone else?

biglips · 13/03/2008 10:54

it called "Pramface" cos its all about teenage mums. I read it in the Echo last night.

biglips · 13/03/2008 11:02

im so fed up !!!

JaamyButty · 13/03/2008 11:40

'Sup BL?

browny · 13/03/2008 11:48

Hi Jammy, how are you today?

JaamyButty · 13/03/2008 11:59

Feeling a bit better today, thanks Browny.

How are you? Any cravings yet? Has Dh decided what he's doing next week? Bet you're all looking forward to the break.

Typical - documentary about teenage pg and where's it set? Liverpool!

biglips · 13/03/2008 12:05

oh nothing major as just money moan!

browny · 13/03/2008 12:09

Hi Jammy, glad you're feeling a little better today.

Dh has decided to take another week off sick, I said that he'd spend about £50 in diesel going back and forth, so I'm going to ask for another sick note for him, then we can all relax and enjoy the break together .

I thought that too about the programme .

biglips · 13/03/2008 12:10

browny - thats a lovely idea to enjoy it and so that Dh can relax a bit too - if you allow him!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 13/03/2008 20:25

hi ladies
just checkin in to see how you all are
our dream house fell through properly last week because the arseholes people who own it have all of a sudden decided they are not moving we have now wasted over £1000 on the purchase and had to find somewhere else!! luckily we have snapped a little gem up from around the corner from the first one!! we are also saving ourselves over £10,000 and getting it for cheaper than it was advertised for it had only just gone on the market aswell so i am very happy about it!! hopefully now we will be moving within the next 6 weeks YAY!!!
browny about your little break you have a relax hunny you deserve it
jaamy glad you are feelin a bit better
i hope everyone else is fine
xx ei xx

Nemoandthefishes · 13/03/2008 20:43

oh blooming eck ei but yay for the new house!!!

Browny glad dh is taking the time and you can enjoy the holiday.

Jaamy sorry you are still feeling rough..is dh back tomorrow??I did wonder about early MC when you said on tues.

BLs is the USA trip off then?

MD looking forward to the scan on monday?? Will be thinking of you

{{waves at lulu}}

Stoppin you lurking??

Not a lot going on here apart from being stressed..lol DD2 is ill and has been on and off for over a month..Gps answer was if she is still throwing up in a week come back
Af has gone awol but its due to lack of sleep and being stressed rather than anything else but still ordered cheap test from ebay as no doubt they will make af show. Am now stressing about being late as am usually bang on same day as ei and jaamy..but am not unknown ot have missed out a month..lol Also might not be able to go on weds as have to go to asthma nurse for me[H is on mon] and appointment is at 10.15am. Might be able to come for picnic afterwards..stoppin will still give you the money for our 2 places though if you are charged.

JaamyButty · 13/03/2008 22:43

Nemo - think it's Thurs, not wed for Court Hey. We're still hoping to make the picnic though weather isn't great, is it?
Hope DD2 gets better soon. You all seem to have had a long run of colds and bugs. I know it's no help but they always say that LOs get a series of colds when they start nursery until they build up a bit of immunity. Hoping it's nothing more than that.
Hope you find AF soon (you can mine if you want still lingering after day 8) if that's what you want . Am still thinking mc due to length of AF and still not 100%.

Ei - so fingers crossed you'll be in the new house (and BFP ) by Whit!

BL - cheer up - £££ isn't everything.

Browny - good that DH is going with you - you wouldn't enjoy the break if you were worrying about him at home alone.

Have taped "Pramface". Was it any good?

Night night all x

.

JaamyButty · 14/03/2008 09:39

Mornin'!

Not feeling too bad today. Have managed breakfast for frist time in nearly a week. So, cue DD1 to be up half the night being sick! Am playing nurse today when should be ging to Southport to celebrate DN's 6th birthday this pm.

How's everyone else doing today?

Nemo - How's DD2? Have you managed to get some sleep yourself?

Nemoandthefishes · 14/03/2008 10:43

dd2 is great thanks jaamy although dd1 has now thrown up twive..lol am packing dd2 to nursery this afternoon dd1 can have some tlc.
hope dd1 feels better soon

JaamyButty · 14/03/2008 11:37

Typical isn't it...one gets better and the other decides they want a bit of attention. Enjoy time with DD1. Boths DDs currently competing for attention here. DD2 keeps throwing herself off sofa in effort to get noticed over poorly sister.

Such a shame 'cos it seems like a nice day out there today!

Nemoandthefishes · 14/03/2008 14:37

and we will be there on the 20th although might not have ds as he and dh are going to the football museum at anfield because I thought Wildflower was on wed..lol

stoppinattwo · 14/03/2008 20:36

ok so I have had a call from the wildflower trust.................we have a reduced rate for the activity £2 per person - reduced from £2.50

we are booked in for 10.30am on thurs 20th

stoppinattwo · 14/03/2008 20:45

cool......... thanks nemo

think they need a decent turn out to make it worth thier while, but she said it will be nice for the LO's to just have the place to them selves, you know sort of just friends haviong a whole booking to themselves iykwim
