Huge congrates to you...I am getting soooo bloody broody

well i had my scan and im exactly 13 weeks (which i thought i be 12 weeks adn 4 days) so my due date is 12 Sept but im keeping it as 15th and will change it on my next scan.

i was there from 8.50am till 12pm!!!!!!!! 4 bloody hours!!!! - the fire alarm also went off too

anyway im home and ive been looking at my scans pics. (i ended up getting 6!! - think the sonographer got carried away!!) as my baby was spinning around and wouldnt keep still. got 3 of them of its face staring at me....it looks abit like an alien!!!

so its all real now!

MD - can't believe that your half-way through, it doesn't seem that long since you told us , when is your 2nd scan?

Well, we couldn't keep our news a secret at all, we've told our families and everyone is over-the-moon! My dad's reaction was "oh, bloody hell!!" - in a nice way and then, "are you taking your folic acid?".

We told the kiddies too, because we knew dh's mother can't keep secrets full stop, dd1 said she hopes it's not a boy, dd2 asked why she had to wait so long, ds1 asked where is was and ds2 said he'd love to be a big brother!.

Browny, my second scan is on March 17th.
I am glad your DC are so happy. My DD still doesn't know, she hasn't noticed my bump!

MD - ooh, your scan is really soon, are you going to ask if it's a boy or a girl? Fancy your dd not noticing your bump, do you think she will be pestering you every day about the baby if you tell her? .

DD keeps asking when Father Christmas is coming again, she has no concept of time.
I will tell her when she notices my bump and asks.
I am not going to find out the sex of baby although I am convinced it is a boy!

NCT baby day at Ormskirk hospital, lots of info and baby related stuff and a chance to meet yours truly!!

ooh MD....im def gonna find out the sex of this one as my dd was a big surprise!! so this time i like to know. Ive got my 2nd scan on 24th April so ill be 20 weeks then. Also will be having more scans this time round as i had an emergency c-section with DD as i found more dets about the labour as instead of my dd facing downwards in my birth canal (meaning her chin close to her chest) she was facing upwards and was in distress and poss stuck. So will be having another scan at 30 weeks so im more relaxed now knowing whats going on inside me!!!

(and im having mine at the Womens as ive heard from 2 different people that they were happy with overall of the hosp, so things had changed alot since i had DD)

Congrats to you all! I somehow manage to miss that Maisy was pregnant as well. Ds is 9 weeks old now it's flown by and he's definately my last (photo on profile). How exciting having all these new babies around soon.
