aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 18:33

Mawbroon i don't think i was drunk but i am not sure iyswim?

So was i?

aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 18:34

Oh and i also had a fab night, was really good to meet up again.

Was nice to meet FAQ too,let us know you arrived back safely

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 19:11

Either you weren't very drunk or you can really hold your drink agalch . You seemed fine to me.

I have just remembered about the straightners in the toilet ffs.

aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 19:18

Oh god do you know that was the funniest thing!!

I obv lead a sheltered life, was amazed to see them in a pub toilet.

Hmm i tend not to get very drunk but i did wonder. After dropping NP home i invited the taxi driver to come for dinner at ours sometime I reckon i must have been a little bit pissed lol

Oh taxi driver is a friend of DH's

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 19:22

"Warning - may be hot" - no shit!!

At least the taxi driver wasn't some random stranger! LOL

We were winding FAQ up on the way home saying that we were going to post all about her while she was on the bus and then have it deleted before she got home. She will have been quivering in her boots (black boots NP ) all the way home

aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 19:25

lol poor FAQ.

My ds1 managed not to text me thankfully!!

Was a really good night but these places are always soooo loud aren't they? My throat was really croaky this morning. Prob cos i gassed so much.

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 19:27

Yes, agree. Far too loud. But you can't expect someone who drinks tea in the pub to say anything other than it was too loud.

aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 19:29

I should have drunk tea too. Then i wouldn't have a bad headache this morning.

Oh well it was worth it

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 20:32

Have you looked at the photos yet agalch? I will email you with my address and could you forward them if you get a min?

FAQ · 23/02/2008 20:33

I wasn't quivering in my boots - I was far too drunk to care .

I have NEVER in my entire life not been able to remember how/when I got home or have whole "chunks" of the latter part of the night missing from my memory.

I woke up this morning on my DB's sofa in just my bra and knickers, with a bucket next to me and a blanket and my dressing gown thrown over the top of me . Apparently I puked all over his hallway, his bathroom and his sink - and then crashed out on the bathroom floor (I do recall him telling me "you can't sleep there") and then he apparently got me out of the bathroom and I crashed straight out half way through his bedroom door and the hallway.....

Was great to meet you all but very sorry I got so totally plastered I can't even remember leaving the 2nd pub

I've emailed you. I will be offended if your pc "junks" me

aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 20:38

Mawbroon the photos are rubbish, don't know who took them but they are all blurred i'm afraid lol

FAQ you poor thing lol. I feel really rough today but waiting for my chinese to arrive then will fill my hot water bottle and have an early night.

Did you have an ok journey home with the ds's?

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 20:41

Oh crossed posts!

Glad to hear you made it home safely FAQ. Do you remember going home at all? You passed out in my car and I took you all the way up in the lift and opened the door of the flat for you! If I'd known you were that bad I would have put you to bed or made you drink water or something!

How horrendous was the bus journey today?

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 20:42

LOL maybe just as well they are rubbish agalch, you know, destroy the evidence and all that!!

aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 20:46

Will look again, might be a couple. Lots of NP posing lol but very blurred.

Yep lets plan something for Easter with the dc's. I am more than happy to meet wherever everyone else wants to go.

FAQ · 23/02/2008 20:54

mawbroon - no I don't really remember going home at all - don't remembering leaving the pub either.

Although I do remember you saying something along the lines of "are you going to be alright now". - next thing I remember clearly was waking up this morning in state if undress that I'd never have knowingly shown my DB

Bus journey was ok - not really hungover - just tired - head is fine though. Mind you the last 5 1/2hrs of the trip DS1 and DS2 were sitting on seats apart from each other, and some distance from me - we ended up having to change coach as there was a problem with the one we were on. By the time I'd got the DS's sorted, got my hand luggage and them off I was last off.......and therefore last on the new bus. DS1 sat about 2 rows back, DS2 had to sit 3 rows behind him, and I actually struggled to find anyone sitting in with an empty seat next to them to move so that I could sit down wit DS3 - bearing in mind I'd paid for a seat for him - so wasn't just being cheeky. I ended up a row behind DS2 on the opposite side - was ridiculous.

Was really rather about it as when I got the bus in Edinburgh this morning I'd got 2 seats for me and DS3 and had the other 2 DS's sat directly behind me....

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 21:04

Ugh, fannying about changing buses was probably the last thing you felt like doing...

Were your DSs ok with your brother last night?

FAQ · 23/02/2008 21:15

yes they were fine. DS3 went down at 8pm and (as agreed) the other 2 had a later bedtime at 9pm so they could bake some cakes with him, finishing their painting and help him clean the pet rats out.

can you get a babysitter one night and we can meet in evening with wine

LOL now we know who's fault it was

aGalChangedHerName · 23/02/2008 21:37

Right have stuffed my face with chinese so off to bed.

I am too flipping old for nights out when i don't get to sleep in the next day!!

mawbroon · 23/02/2008 21:57

I'm off to bed too.

Night all.

FAQ · 24/02/2008 14:19

arghhhh - I woke up with my proper hangover this morning - very odd that often happens if I've been drinking - am tired but not feeling too rough the night after - but then the following morning feel like sh*t
