We did paint some thankyou cards today...it's getting him to write his name in all of them that will take some time!

Zebedeedoodah · 19/11/2007 14:31

Berrie, you'd better be prepared to spill the beans on 30th Jan or we won't be held responsible for our actions. Will we gang?

Berrie · 19/11/2007 14:33

Right...got to go and wake the baby...she won't like it...sigh

Berrie prevaricates....

If she's gonna tell us then, she may as well tell us now.
Right Berrie?

Berrie · 19/11/2007 14:34

Lordy...you've built it up out of all proportion...you would be disapointed I assure you!

oggsfrog · 19/11/2007 14:34

What time does your train get into London Berrie?

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 14:35

Tell us before it gets built up any more. G'wan

Look...if I was going to break my word would I do it on here in front of the whole world...would I say that I was going to at a later date either?

I'm sorry for mentioning it again, it was unfair...just don't feel bad for her that's all.

Berrie · 19/11/2007 14:37

Good question Oggs! Checking....

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 14:38

That's why we have email...

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 19/11/2007 14:39

Has she copped off with John Barrowman?

Berrie · 19/11/2007 14:41

Around about mid day...need to look on train site to get exact arrival time. I leave on the 1 pm train the next day. There are some places I'd like to go so I've given myself a bit of time.

oggsfrog · 19/11/2007 14:41

I hadn't realised that I would need to arrive at the airport 2 hrs before the flight . Might as well get the blardy train .

Will have to spend some time working out what will be best.

Berrie · 19/11/2007 14:42

Right I really have to go now.
Sorry...nothing so exciting...this isn't Eastenders you know!

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 14:42

Two hours is excessive if you've only got hand luggage. One hour is plenty on internal flights.

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 19/11/2007 14:44

Got to go...realised we have nothing for tea and I've got to go and get dd.

oggsfrog · 19/11/2007 14:48

So it's a suggestion not a necessity? They won't stop me from getting on the plane if I didn't arrive two hours before? Gawd, I'm so out of touch... is it right that I'll have to take my shoes off?

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 14:57

No, you don't have to take your shoes off.
They say to get to the airport two hours before just because they don't want people leaving it too late and holding up the plane. When DP flies to Washington he only gets to Heathrow an hour before the flight if he doesn't have to check in baggage.
When I used to fly from Prestwick to Stansted I sometimes arrived half an hour before the flight, but with the increased security now I'd allow an hour.

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 16:06

Oh, have only just clicked that Oggs meant take your shoes off at security and whilst on the plane - Sorry Oggs, I was picturing you as a distant cousin of the Beverly Hillbillies or some such when I misread that

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 16:07

sorry, at security NOT whilst on the plane - what the heck is wrong with my typing at the minute???!!!!

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 16:08

AWW Berrie!

Dont do a Kanga on us! Come on, wheedling doesn't look pretty on us!

Did she chuck out his onions or something??

Berrie · 19/11/2007 16:16

Yes that was it...secret is out.

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 16:17
