i won't be able to get there much before 9.00, i'm afraid. by the time dd is settled down, i've got ready and got the bus to clapham junction etc etc

DH has come down with a bad case of flu and is in no state to look after kids. Was considering coming out once ds and dd are in bed, but as dd doesn't go to sleep until 9-930... [sob sob sob sob].

Was really looking forward to this. How inconsiderate of DH! Poor darling is actually really poorly. He's the type who soldiers on and on and on until he collapses. Not like my ex who was usually dying if he had a mild case of the sniffles.

Pamina, Caz73, Madgirl, I've got myself together - I will be at the front of Wimbledon station at 7:30 (unless you prefer a bit later) tonight. I have a silvery green Skoda Octavia (identical to a VW Passat). Look forward to seeing you all again.

it's looking less and less likely that i will be able to come...:(

dh is in dorset with removal men. i didn't think it was going to take as long as it is and he may not be back until late...they are not even half way thro and have been at it since 8am...

i'll do my very best, maybe i'll just drive up late so that i get to see/meet you all...

i can't leave here until dh is back (obviously...ds is 13 months old)...

i'll keep you posted with progress.

ok thanks silent bite :) yeah ds went to mums yesteday for the weekend so i'm good for 8 looking getting well excited now! see you all there what do i ask for when i get there do i say the mumsnet table or what?

babysitter not around (can't ask parents...they've had terrible few weeks with granny in hospital and she only came out a couple of days ago, this is my mum's first stress free weekend, i don't have the heart)...still don't know yet, haven't heard from dh in a while so don't know if that is good or bad sign tbh...

Call me you daft moo - have list of qualified babysitters who might be able to help

hi everyone

ds has displayed utterly perfect timing by developing a vomiting bug last night and this morning. although he does seem better this pm, i'm afraid i can't bring myself to go out this evening after all (hmm, i must be a better mother than i thought! )

gah, the little blighter hasn't been ill in over a year...

hope you all have a great time - at least there will be an extra meal if the pg ladies are hungry!
