Kewcumber · 02/09/2007 12:54

There a very small piece about me and DS in it Choc which Stepford wrote. The photo of me is terrible though - I look like I have a HUGE double chin. I don't do I? [worried emoticon]

OP posts:
stepfordwife · 02/09/2007 13:05

no...you don't. kew!

Kewcumber · 02/09/2007 13:07

have plenty of "double chins" actually - just not below my actual chin! IYSWIM

OP posts:
sfxmum · 02/09/2007 13:12

i take it you have the mag now Kew

nevermind about the chins then again I kept avoiding my face on the mirror at hairdressers yesterdaynot sure what the damned thing was up to

SushiMummy · 02/09/2007 13:59

No, QC, you look lovely. I bought it at WHS then went to M&S to read with a cuppa. Oh, I spotted your name in the mag, too, Steppie!

Paddlechick666 · 02/09/2007 14:00

anybody going to kew green this arvo?

dd just woke up and am thinking about going over there. parking could be a n'mare tho.

foxie, dd is running around in the purple fluffy gilet and thinking herself very gorgeous! did you find the sunnies?

i've got my mobile so if anyone's around text me.

ps: back at work tomorrow and am surprised at how depressed i feel about it. seriously going to miss little miss....

Kewcumber · 02/09/2007 14:30

I might go to Kew if DS wakes at a reasonable time Paddle. I'm going to park in Lichfield road and walk from there probably.

OP posts:
sfxmum · 02/09/2007 14:37

that was the plan but my will fails me

stepfordwife · 02/09/2007 14:38

was thinking of going, but dd has just gone asleep so probably won't be worth it by time get our (collective) arse in gear..
aw paddle. not surprised you'll miss dd. she's a gorgeous bundle of gorgeousness. but you know that..

sfxmum · 02/09/2007 14:51

just had a look at the fayre site and it only mentions sat 1st

on the second it seems to be that old cricket match thing which I just don't understand at all

Kewcumber · 02/09/2007 14:55

there is also some knd of fayre on today but not the same as yesterday. It is Fredericks day?

OP posts:
sfxmum · 02/09/2007 15:02

Kewcumber · 02/09/2007 15:08

fredericks day

They are having a hog roast??!!

Anyone want to come here instead?

OP posts:
foxcub · 02/09/2007 16:49

Well I walked down to Kew Gn about 4pm and it looked pretty quiet. Did I miss anything?

Paddle - any idea whereabouts the sunnies might be e.g. house, garden etc?

Can't wait to get Prima

I seem to be suffering from complete inertia atm. Took me until 3pm to get out of the house to go school uniform shopping.

Had to pay £8 for 2 pairs of grey tights for DD!! I mean that's more than my tights cost

She looks so cute in her uniform though

foxcub · 02/09/2007 16:54

Paddle - found the sunnies!!

R U working from home tomorrow? I could drop them by maybe - or put through letterbox

Paddlechick666 · 02/09/2007 16:58

well, we went and dd had a good time. we watched the dancing and got some free ginger cake.

dd had 2 goes on the kiddie merry-go-round and still had the screaming ab-dabs when i took her off!

then she had a go on that harness trampoline thing which she loved altho she was a little nervous when the guy bounced her up high!

i cleverly thought i'd found a park on the far side of the green only to realise i'd missed seeing the very small and very low down residents parking sign. didn't notice it till just after i noticed the parking ticket

foxie, sunnies could be anywhere i'm afraid! i'd say definately ground floor and possibly garden. maybe the playhouse? sorry to be a pain.

btw, d'you want a few jars of HiP and Cow & Gate Organic stuff for ds? It's mostly stage 3 and 4 but better they should still be okay for when your ds is a bit bigger.

Paddlechick666 · 02/09/2007 17:01

whoo hooo! cool, thanks so much.

yep WFH tomorrow. dropping car for MOT at 9am and seeing Dr at 2ish.

otherwise I can swing by on Tuesday and grab 'em....

Paddlechick666 · 02/09/2007 17:38

i've added a couple of pics to my profile from this arvo.

dd is toooo cute!

rosmerta · 02/09/2007 17:38

Hi all, seems everyone's been having a good weekend.

Paddle, ds went 4 times on the roundabout and had tantrums when we took him off! I did try to convince the women running it that he'd earnt a free go but she disagreed!

What are people up to next week? Anyone like to meet? Am pretty much free apart from Friday when we're going on holiday!

Kewcumber · 02/09/2007 19:45

they're lovely Paddle. I'm afraid I don;t trust DS not to climb out mid-ride - he's just that sort of child!

OP posts:
rosmerta · 02/09/2007 19:59

Very cute paddle!

Kew, we thought ds would climb out as well but he was actually very good, well at least until it was time to get off!
