A in art; maths and something else I can't remember I think she did fine

DH's niece got her gcse results, too. She too had good ones, all A*s and As, she had 100% in music. She seems happy.

am back from rainy brittany
rubbish weather but had a good time - especially the brood. dh and i now need a child-free holiday.
holidays? pah! just family life on tour...

( i digress here..but has anyone ever been asked for proof of exam results/qualifications? i haven't...seriously considering adding an oxbridge degree to my cv..)

I was asked for proof of degree at my 1st job but I think you're right. Employers do take your CV at face value.

OK. I've just remembered it's a bank holiday on Monday so today will be my last day at home alone with dd. Dh will be home over the weekend and it's not quite the same.

So, I'm definitely up for meeting up with people.

Mellow - I had a cousin from up North come stay with me so I was busy with her until Tuesday and last 2 days I've just been tidying up DS's toy cupboards, clothes etc. Can't believe he's only been in the world for 3 yrs but has sooooo much stuff!

I would've said pop round to mine or vica versa but other than shopping trips, poor DS has been stuck indoors for the whole week so better venture out with him. I hate getting stuck in bank holiday traffic so was thinking of jumping on a train and heading into the city (probably around 12ish) You're more than welcome to join me.

just had an awful night with dd, yet again and for no reason I can fathom, she woke up at2.30 and did not go to sleep until gone 4.30 and still then it was quite a disturbed sleep.
