That's kind dingle but I'd have dd and ds with me. I don't think there'd be room. We are quite used to to train.

So where are we going?

fio2 · 10/11/2004 06:52

I must admit Rochester can be a bit of a rush for me sometimes! You ask heartinthecountry, i went into panic mode because I thought I would miss my train Come on you two, you have lived here longer than me! organise so5mething

What stops are on the train line you'll be taking?
Perhaps we counld find somewhere mid-way, near a station . I am driving so it makes very little difference to me as long as I have somewhere to park up!

fio2 · 10/11/2004 16:13

my stops upward are : whitstable, faversham, sittingbourne, rainham, chatham..........i think!

Dingle · 10/11/2004 16:15

Hold on let me get my map book from the car!!

Dingle · 10/11/2004 16:28

Well I'm OK with any of those but don't have any knowledge of where we can actually spend our time!
Sorry,perhaps Cadbury will enlighten us.
How many of us will there be, can we allow to just name to place & time in the hope that we will find somewhere suitable??!!
I will only have dd in her buggy,ds is at school and I need to be back to collect him for 3pm.

Cadbury · 10/11/2004 17:06

Well, All of those places are fine for me too but I'm afraid I don't know any suitable things to do while we arte there. Maybe Whitstable would have cafe's or a chippy or something (being a coastal town). But I've rarely been there. We could go for pot luck and just meet at the station and wander out from there. Sorry I'm not much help. I just don't know the area very well.

Who else was it coming from Ramsgate Fio?

fio2 · 10/11/2004 17:11

just remembered the whitstable stop is actually tankerton!!!!!!!

fio2 · 10/11/2004 17:12

OP posts:
Cadbury · 10/11/2004 17:13

Oh. Maybe not Whitstable then. We could give faversham a go and just turn up and see what we find.

fio2 · 10/11/2004 17:25

Dingle · 18/11/2004 19:01

Ooohh no-meant to be on a health drive but the thought of those brownies I've heard so much about!
Where are you looking online Cadbury?

Cadbury · 18/11/2004 19:10

Just googling it Dingle. Well, I can see that there is a beefeater restaurant on the High Street, but that;s just a quick look. There is always the Riverside Park for a walk and (cold) picnic. I've got to go out now, but I'll have another look tomorrow.
Got a batch of brownies in the freezer Dingle, I'll bring them with me.

fio2 · 18/11/2004 19:12
