Hello mrspnut. Sounds like you are very busy at the moment. Hope you have a great weekend away. That reminds me, I need to book a dentist appointment. I keep putting it off as I hate going, even though I never have any problems. I've got no excuse now as I can go for free.

Perhaps everybody can make a day next week. Next week I am free any day except Wednesday morning and all day Thursday.

mrspnut · 14/11/2007 19:42

Are we any further along with a date to meet up?

Ladies - Yoohoo, anyone, am I all alone.

Emparade · 21/11/2007 13:27

What about Monday 26th? Anyone else?

LouiseSJ · 21/11/2007 17:41

Hi everyone. Hope you are all well.

I can meet on Monday 26th, but only if it is 12.30pm or later.

Emparade · 21/11/2007 20:46

Mondays good for me. Am looking forward to seeing your bigger bump louise! ps do you remember our conversation about v shaped pillows? Dunelm hve got some lovely fluffy ones at moment. Also whole body pillows for resting bump and legs on in bed. Bliss, am thinking of getting one and kicking DH out!

LouiseSJ · 22/11/2007 20:41

Hi Emparade. Yes I do remember our conversation about the pillows. I'll take a look at Dunelm next time I'm up that way. At the moment I'm just using extra pillows. I'm getting heartburn almost every night so I need to keep my head raised but having extra pillows just puts my neck at an awkward angle. Will the v shape or whole body pillow help?

So lets meet on Monday at 12.30pm. Somewhere in town? Any suggestions? Where is everybody else?

mrspnut · 24/11/2007 16:11

Monday at 12:30 is fine with me Just let me know where.

LouiseSJ · 25/11/2007 11:33

Hello ladies. We're running out of time to organise a meet up for tomorrow. Shall we say The Ritz at 12.30pm?

Emparade · 25/11/2007 17:18

Is that the one on the high st near debenhams?

mrspnut · 25/11/2007 17:53

Sounds good to me - see you there.
Emparade, it is the one on the high street.

Emparade · 26/11/2007 09:50

Hi,

I'm in Lincoln and although I don't do meet-ups I was wondering if anyone could use a free pack of Aptamil first formula milk powder(the blue pack).

The seals are still intact so its never been opened and its good until December 2008. I just found it at the back of a cupboard (it was my emergency pack which I put in a different cupboard in case we ran out).

I can drop it off if your are in Lincoln or could meet you in town one lunch-time to hand it over.

I am a regular poster but have adopted an alias as I value my anonoymity.

christmaschicken · 07/12/2007 06:05

Whoops can't spell anonymity (sp) - you know what I mean anyway

Hello Ladies,

This is Leighton (Louise's husband). Louise has asked me to let you know that we have had a little girl, Ffion (pronounced Fee-on) born Friday 7th December at 0526 and weighing 5lbs 3oz. Ffion was born at 32+2 weeks and therefore needs to be monitored and is unable to leave hospital until probably Friday 14th. As you know, our family and friends all live miles away, so if anyone would like to visit Louise and Ffion they would really appreciate it. Visiting times are 1430 until 1700 (I will be visiting them for the evening sessions when I get back from work - no point in wasting the paternity leave whilst they're still in the hospital!). They are located in Nettleham Ward (floor 2), Ward 11.

mrspnut · 10/12/2007 09:28

Congratulations to the three of you.

I shall endeavour to get my little one looked after one afternoon and pay her a visit - I know how boring being in hospital can be.

flossie64 · 10/12/2007 09:34

Congratulations Louise and Leighton. I love your DD's name . hope you are all doing well and i hope to pop and see Louise soon.
big cuddle for you all.

Hello again Ladies,
I've just noticed that there's a slight typo in my announcement. It should read that Ffion was born at 36+2 weeks ! Anyway, just thought I'd clear that up before you visit them, mention it to Louise and get me into trouble. I probably won't be back on here as Louise will think I'm spying on her online activities.
Regards, Leighton.

LouiseSJ · 12/12/2007 18:06

Hi ladies.

This is Louise. I'm home on day release. I feel like a prisoner! Don't know when we will be home. Moved to different ward. Nocton Ward on floor 6 room 5. I am free to come and go as I please so I've left Leighton babysitting for now. So please don't turn up for a visit in case I'm not there. (Unless you happen to be passing that way.) I'd hate you to have a wasted journey. Also children are not allowed to visit this ward.

Me and Ffion are doing fine but can't go home until she can feed for herself. She currently feeds through a tube in her nose.

Must now dash back to the hospital. I'll update you all soon.

flossie64 · 13/12/2007 10:46

Nice to hear from you Louise .
I won't come down to the hospital as I have a throat infection so wouldn't want any of you to catch it . May be we can catch up when you are released and not on parole .

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 21/12/2007 12:35

Hi Louise,

I didn't realise that Ffion had been moved to Nocton. I had a few days of and when I came back you weren't there - I assumed she'd made good progress and you'd gone home. Are you back yet? Hope you're ok.

LouiseSJ · 21/12/2007 13:58

Hi everyone.

Me and Ffion are now home. We came home yesterday. Ffion is now strong enough to feed for herself. The feeding tube has been removed. She has gained weight. She is now 5lb 7oz.

I'll put some photos on here when I get around to it.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas.

mimi03 · 21/12/2007 17:24

well done Ffion!- just in time for xmas! so glad your all doing well, have a very merry xmas!
