stepfordwife · 11/07/2007 15:51

you fine woman, sfx!

Kewcumber · 11/07/2007 15:52

Shall we arrange to meet there? Think I and Ele and Sushi are going for 11.30 kick-off and we may stay for luinch too if weather is good.

Kewcumber · 11/07/2007 15:54

butterbeer - no need for sarcasm tis the lowest form of wit you know. Ackchooallee he is not my oldest friend but I think he may be my ex-husband and I have just remembered that I need to serve the divorce papers on him. It's a very sensitive situation you know and needs careful handling so will require my presence.

stepfordwife · 11/07/2007 15:55

sounds good. will probably aim for 11.30ish too. see you by the dalek..

xoxo · 11/07/2007 16:16

hello all
Hope everything and everyone is well. We've been off seeing familoy. My liver hurts. have I missed anything?

are there any meet ups soon?

sfxmum · 11/07/2007 16:20

a Dalek i am almost sorry i can't go, it would keep dh&dd entertained for hours. i, of course have no interest in sci fi whatsoever no no not me

sfxmum · 11/07/2007 16:29

did you all know there will be open air theater for under 10's in Richmond parks?
it starts on July 31st every tuesday and thursday until August 30th

should be nice if we ever get a summer

Kewcumber · 11/07/2007 16:35

I'm planning to go and see baby Balloon at the Unicorn on 15th August if anyone fancies it. only for really littles though 6months - 2yrs. Near London bridge.

foxcub · 11/07/2007 16:45

Kew - can't I go with you and Ele and Sushi then?

Kewcumber · 11/07/2007 16:47

I think I said you could about 3 pages down Foxie - get with teh programme!

mellow2 · 11/07/2007 17:12

QC,
That sounds interesting. Do you have a website where I can find out more info?

Natural Cafe (organic and fair trade) in Kew is open tomorrow. I spoke to the people and was told there'll be free coffee and stuff. It's where the old Italian restaurant was. Looks good. Went to the one in Richmond and the kids menu was really good. They even have a little den for kiddies to play in (not sure if they have that in Kew, tho).

Need to get rid of very well used Loola. Would anyone be interested?

stepfordwife · 11/07/2007 17:33

that'll be larks in the parks, sfx. very jolly they are too

kew - play sounds good, but hoping to be on hols by then (if we ever get round to booking something..)

sushi - yes, like the natural cafe in richmond. dh teases me as i use it as one of my off-shore offices sometimes and pay through the nose (where did that phrase come from??) for a small bowl of porridge when we've got kilos of the stuff at home..

er, sorry to be ignorant, but what's a loola? sounnds like a euphenism for a front bottom..

SushiMummy · 11/07/2007 17:52

lol steppie. it's a heavy duty buggie. got it when DS was born and it's really good for long walks but a nighmare to shop with. since it's well used, I'm giving it free.

foxcub · 11/07/2007 18:15

No thanx Sushi - we already have several heavy weight buggies!

Loola is not a nice name IMHO - sounds like a front bum shower.

We went o larks in the Parks last year - Twas good

sfxmum · 11/07/2007 18:22

must try larks this year then

forgot to mention my 16yr old niece was looking for baby sitting jobs, she is very responsible and reliable.
after she gets back from Cornwall, next week that is

have packing crisis how to reduce to essential with a 2yr old?!

foxcub · 11/07/2007 18:44

sfx when we go on holiday I pack 10 bags for the DCs and all my stuff is shoved into one rucksack

Kew - your cleaner and her Dh are awesone. He came back and did the grouting as I requested. I was expecting them to charge me extra for all the extra work he had to do when my kitchen units collapsed through rotting, but she charged us the original price - despite him spending a whole extra day sorting my rotting units!!

He's going to do our drive in Sept

Kewcumber · 11/07/2007 19:50

it's good business sense for them - give you a feww day and you spend a pile more money.

Mellow think the website is www.unicorntheatre.com

rosmerta · 11/07/2007 20:22

Ok, I've signed up to the sitters.co.uk service, hope its good!

foxcub · 11/07/2007 21:46

Kew - I don't think they realise that by doing and excellent job and not ripping us off they are in breach of the British Building Code of Ethics!

2Cute · 12/07/2007 03:22

lol Foxi!

I've only just finished packing Serves me right for not planning ahead!

Sushi - We're going to Oahu (sp?) Yep, you're right the flight'll be shattering.

Its 12 hours from here to LA then 4 hours stay there and a further 5 hour flight. Door to door it'll be approx a 25 hr journey !!!

Will see you all in 2 weeks. Be good!

Over & out
