OP posts:
Kewcumber · 06/06/2007 13:30

seems so

Kewcumber · 06/06/2007 13:31

details can get a bit lost when we start yacking so probably for the best

pudding77 · 06/06/2007 13:33

Hi all, haven't been on in a while but have skimmed through the thread and caught up now!

pudding77 · 06/06/2007 13:45

Btw, I saw an advert today that ITNG is starting again on Monday. I'll finally, sorry ds of course, will finally get to watch it!

foxcub · 06/06/2007 13:45

OK Grrrls, what shall we talk about then?

pudding77 · 06/06/2007 13:46

Hi foxie, how's the brood?

foxcub · 06/06/2007 14:18

Fab - DS2 is such a cutie

I promoted him yesterday from lying down cot, to sit up chair in his buggy and he looked so pleased with himself when he realised he could look around. Awww

I'm just applying to have a vehicular crossover done. When we did one in our old house it took 5 weeks, but apparently takes 5 months now - how did RUT council get so inefficient?

Mind you it was Tory in those days and now its Lib Dem

[hee hee]

Kewcumber · 06/06/2007 14:20

Foxie - my sister did hers first then applied

Kewcumber · 06/06/2007 14:20

do you need one - there always seems to be plenty of parking around you?

foxcub · 06/06/2007 14:22

I mean the dropped curb - only the council are allowed to do them (some Highways Act thingy), rather than the hard standing, which we'd have to get done too.

I think if you do the dropped curb yourself you get in big fat trouble - or maybe not - tell me more...

Paddlechick666 · 06/06/2007 14:22

hi pud, i just finished Wicked - it was great.

just booked flights for my trip to Sweden!! So excited!

foxcub · 06/06/2007 14:22

ps. 'cos the dropped curb is highways land so to speak i.e. on the public highway

Kewcumber · 06/06/2007 14:23

ah no I think she opened the wall up and prepared the driveway so maybe she didn't go about it illegally (unusually for my sister)

Paddlechick666 · 06/06/2007 14:23

yes you get in fat trouble if you drop the kerb without permission......

Kewcumber · 06/06/2007 14:24

are we all going to end up chatting on here now instead of the main thread (head hurting, head hurting)

Kewcumber · 06/06/2007 14:25

what do they do - are you forbidden from stepping foot on their land again and have to jump over the pavement to get to your car?

Paddlechick666 · 06/06/2007 14:26

this is the main thread you dill!

Eleusis · 06/06/2007 14:35
