mishi1977 · 13/01/2005 13:51

mishi

Fastasleep · 13/01/2005 14:02

I'm ok just about, I hurt my foot a bit and landed on my hands....just in shock because I thought theo's head had gone straight into the pavement...we're both fine though. Lol I have blood on my hand from somewhere but can't for the life of me find out where! Hot sweet tea time lol shuts up babbling

biglips · 13/01/2005 15:03

Fastasleep · 13/01/2005 16:39

lol I swear I'm fine, just in shock I think! Lol what a wimp I'm back to my old self now... I live in Norris Green right by the East Lancs...where do you live? In fact why doesn't everyone do a stats thing to catch up and with Em joining - how old are you? Your kids? What area are you from type thing , if you feel like it!

Mine would be I'm 17, Theo's nearly 11 months and as I said I live in Norris Green

Sorry for the babble earlier !

Fastasleep · 13/01/2005 16:40

MummytoSteven · 13/01/2005 17:45

hi everyone (on the library computer yet again, addicted me eh? )

sorry to hear bout your tumble, Fast, and hope you are over the shock now. when I was on the bus on the way to Norris Green a few weeks ago I'm suer there was a soft play place in Everton on the main road (think it was on Breck Road?)) wondered if anyone knows anything about that - at least that would be more convenient for you!

i would have come along if it hadn't been for a minor erm cashflow/DH not paid till next week crisis - tho now have a bit of cash as sold some old cds/vids to a second hand shop today (yay) don't think I will be along to sticky fingers tomorrow (could do with a day without spending anything tbh )

biglips · 13/01/2005 17:51

leglebegle · 13/01/2005 19:24

Abi - just wanted to say sorry for not coming today and sorry that you had such a crap day. I feel really bad you went all that way and no-one was there. I had no idea you were going. When I posted that I was, I checked back a couple of days later and no-one had acknowledged me. I had also asked if it was possible for the coffee morning to be changed to a different day so I could come but wasn't acknowledged on that one either. I assumed no-one was coming to grandmas,no-one wanted a drink on Allerton Rd and no-one was interested in helping me out in changing the day for the coffee morning. I only checked in tonight because Eyelash called me about meeting up and I wanted to see if she had posted on here for me also. Once again, I am sorry you had such a wasted trip and hope you feel better after your fall. It must have been horrible and i would have been in a right state if it had happened to me. Thanks for having posted anyway that you were going, its nice to know I wasn't completely ignored! Thanks also to Mishi for being kind enough to suggest the next coffee morning on a day I can actually go and thanks to Bron42 for acknowledging my Allerton Rd drinks idea. I have CAT'd you bron direct about meeting up with my phone number and would love to see you.

biglips · 13/01/2005 19:32

legle - sorry i didnt reply to your ideas as i did read them but coz i havent been to grandmas as yet, i couldnt comment on it but just follow to see whats grandmas is like etc. hope to see you soon anyway

BROWNY · 13/01/2005 19:38

Hi,

Just found website and thought I'd get in touch with you all. I live in Allerton and have 4 little ones, the youngest is only 7 months old. Have you been in touch with each other long?

leglebegle · 13/01/2005 20:24

Bron have tried to CAT you but you don't accept them. Can you CAT me and I'll call you so we can arrange a swifty one night next week? Biglips, hope to meet you soon. I'm usually at Grandmas on thursdays but didn't go today as a friend who lives in manchester had a meeting in liverpool today and met me for lunch. I don't go to sticky fingers as I don't fancy it, but hopefully we'll run into each other soon. I've got a 3 year old boy and 6 month old baby boy and am not going back to work till the summer. (live in childwall)

mishi1977 · 13/01/2005 20:31

legel sorry about the coffee morn being on a day you couldnt make but i think thats going to be the case at every coffee morning , theres always going to be someone who can't make certain days... so don't think I will be able to make every coffee morning either, especially if they fall on a mon or tue.

BROWNY · 13/01/2005 21:56

Just got the kids off to bed - they really try and drag it out some nights! I haven't been to any mums and toddler sessions yet, but I used to go to All Souls Church Hall, on Mather Avenue on Monday afternoons - think I'll start going again, but it is always a bit awkward when you haven't anyone to go with isn't it? I don't drive, but that doesn't stop us from getting about.
By the way, I'm having a bit of a prob. working out the 'codes' you all use - help please!!

biglips · 13/01/2005 22:02

well look above and you can see the word "acronym list" in the useful stuff list and all the codes are in there

Fastasleep · 14/01/2005 08:39

Hey everyone! Welcome borwny hope to see you soon! Firstly I'm honestly fine, only split my lip and chipped my nails absolutely no harm done! Janine!!! I thought I'd said I'd go to Grandmas with you after you posted I must have thought it!! AHA! I only posted a sentence and cleverly hid it at the bottom of my post - I was also a ittle late in replying see lol - 'Hello I don't know what to bring !! Theo has no teeth yet so finds it hard to eat some things, and other things he's not allowed because of the salt content and his kidneys lol.. but erm I'll bring some puree for him just in case - don't be offended if he just has that alli, it's not cos he wouldn't love to eat sausage rolls etc!!

It'll be nice to meet you biglips!! I'm emailing you now alli, if anyone can think of something foody for me to bring then tell me! It'll be great to see you all again next week!

Oooh and leglebegle I can do grandmas on Thursday...what time where you thinking? The usual 10am ish?'

Sorry hun sometimes I can be a bit nappy brained, I don't blame any of you for not being there! You all had legitimate reasons giggles to self OOh and after that huge piece of babble I can say what I actually came to say - I can't come to Sticky Fingers, we had a spill last night and urgently need to get more kidney drugs for Theo so I have to go to the doctors this morning and then to town sorry to be a let down Mishi I hope there are others of us there! And I hope to see you next week someteim, not seen you in ages... Thanks if you bothered to read through aaaall of that lol

Fastasleep · 14/01/2005 08:40

Oh sorry browny, typed your name wrong, I'm sure I could make it to Mather Avenue sometime if I really tried lol

mishi1977 · 14/01/2005 08:48

pmsl fast my god that post was confusing..lol

leglebegle · 14/01/2005 11:55

Alli - I'm not bothered the coffee morning was on a day I couldn't come, I completely understand everyone will miss them at some point, and in truth I don't really like coffee mornings that much! I just noticed I'd asked if the day could possibly be changed as it didn't seem set in stone and I can never make Wednesdays, and got no response at all! We all like doing different things, Grandmas suits me as its the right age group for George, you love sticky fingers, its no big deal at all. I just wanted to make fast aware I didn't let her down by not going to grandmas, I didn't think anyone was interested in joining me as I got no response to that question either, so it never occurred to me to post that I wasn't going.

right off to cheshire oaks with a friend. bye!

leglebegle · 14/01/2005 12:00

ps.

fast, I know you posted you were going to grandmas, but it was a few days later and after I had checked back to see if anyone was interested, so I missed it unfortunately. I'm not going on mumsnet quite so mucn these days as I made a new years resolution to see friends, get things done in my house which I've been doing, and to drag myself away from the computer!! If I don't catch up with you all for a while, all the best.
