Belated Happy New Year to you all.
Hope lunch went well today. Was back in work so adult conversation was enjoyable after two weeks of lounging and watching tv - never been so hooked on what's on the box! Sign of ageing motherhood I guess!
Mishi - went to Beatrix Potter exhibition yesterday with kids. Enjoyed it but agree with MTS that it's perhaps better for older kids, although DS loved pulling out the giant carrots. I would have loved to have spent some time alone there as the original works of hers on the walls were beautiful.
leglebegle - sorry to hear the hol was not a total success. Poor George.
Jules - sorry to hear about your situation, you sound as if you know what you are doing re. organising yourself, so good luck.
Will be at Grandma's around 10.00ish in the morning. Looking forward to seeing you all again. Feels like ages since we met up.
Put me down for evening meal end of January - My fave place at the moment is Pushka, think it's got the best service and good value food around. Their new place (they've bought Magnet) on Hardman sounds interesting.

We didn't get ready in time to make it there anywhere near on time this morning, sorry .. I won't be at sticky fingers either - oh well plenty of cleaning to do I guess!

Well up until 7pm last night i was coming, but we had to make a trip to A+E with matthew last night,he got into mummys bag little tinker n brought m a half chewed annidan, when i eventually found the packet he had been sick but there was only one left in the packet, we went the royal n then was transferred to alder hey he had tests done n stuff n his paracetamol levels were ilttle high but blow ten so they sent us home n we got back at half 1 am so we have only just got up nstaying in today having a quiet day to calm down from ysterday.

sorry you couldn't make it to grandmas fast. Thought I was going to be on my own again today, luckily mishi and mts turned up, was good to see you, feel a little bit better now that I can start going out again, 2 weeks in around xmas was a killer......
I was talking to Mishi this morning and wondered if anyones interested in having coffee mornings at their houses, taking it in turns...... its cheap and its relaxing.... I am happy to have one at mine once a month etc, mishi is keen and anyone else interested?
sorry I can't make lunch on Monday, anything on a Monday or Tuesday is out for me because I work.

i was actually thinking of coffee mornings the other day i would be happy to do it also like mishi i have a small living room with a big couch and also wouldnt be able to do it till tony moves out then i will hopefully be decorating but will let you know as soon as i can have u all over i would love it.

Coffee mornings sound good but I hate my house so much, I've found out that cleaning it doesn't help lol... but maybe after going to a few coffee mornings I'll think about letting you guys into my front room! Lol

24th sounds fine Julez, I don't think you do have to ring in advance but depending on which pizza hut they can be very busy and might be a good idea to reserve if you can... Mishi the organising lady'll know more I'm sure ... finally got to see the health visitor yay! Theo 'passed' his check

Hi, I'll start the coffee/tea morning/afternoons off at my house and we can go from there, next Wednesday or Thursday suit? either morning or afternoon but I do have school pick up so have to leave at 3ish....... hope someone can make it lol

I can't make Wednesday as I meet my friend Helen on Wednesdays. On the subject of coffee mornings, I wouldn't be able to make every week, or indeed any if they were every wednesday (!) any chance of changing the day to Friday ?? but I would be happy to host one a month at my house, On Mondays or Fridays. Julezboo, sorry I won't be able to meet up for your birthday as I have a consultant appointment for George that day. Hope you have a good time though. about the coffee mornings it wasnt going to be every week type of thing or on a set day, days will alternate and places..obviously so that everyone has chance to come to one...so next one might be on a thurs etc...also was talking aboiut lunch out on a thurs after sticky fingers

think the best idea would be for everyone to put what days they could do at other peoples houses, maybe once a fortnight we could have one? n what days people could do it at their houses????
