mishi9123 · 17/11/2004 19:48

i was sent a letter with date on

fastasleep · 17/11/2004 19:53

Our HV is just so....ugh! I'm quite thankful that we're under the hospital's care as well! Can't wait to see you all, feels like I've been trapped inside for ages!

bron42 · 17/11/2004 23:19

thanks to leglebegle for booking La Scala. Think their pasta is excellent! Looking forward to that night. You won't be alone LB!
Alli - think it would be better for us all to buy our own present. Have already explained to Mishi (but will mention again!) that I have a problem with sending xmas cards to people that I can wish a happy xmas to. I have taken the bold step this year to stick to that rule and then the rest of the money is going to various charities. Not sure how the rest of you feel about that but I appreciate that other people feel differently about issues like this.
Mishi - Just a reindeer set for DS please. Am far too old and vain to wear a set myself.!!
Eyelash - good to hear from you. Hope to see you in the near future.
Fastasleep - sorry to read you are still poorly.
Looking forward to girlie chat WITHOUT child tomorow night!!

fastasleep · 18/11/2004 13:21

hey it was a nice morning! Nice to meet you leglebegle... I swear I'm never going near that slide again...or that red thing!!

I'm excited about the craft night now lol...

leglebegle · 18/11/2004 15:20

Really good to meet fastasleep and mishi this morning, and of course theo and adam. also very good to meet up with alli and beth again. must do that more often, george had a ball (literally - he kept stealing it from the enclosed area!)

Enjoy yourselves tonight girls x

MummyToSteven · 18/11/2004 15:23

well if it is a sticky fingers craft night out tonight will there be anybody up and about at sticky fingers tomorrow morning

mishi - you were right about the check - apparently the HVs contact you to do it at home. the girl in today was covering for someone else so didn't have the checklists etc to do the developmental check

MummyToSteven · 18/11/2004 16:57

hi eyelash - just spotted your posts - oops

yes I will be at Fact next week - the film on next week is "Spirited Away". Japanese cartoon I believe.

jacob would probably be a bit young for sticky fingers on thursday/friday. the baby group is on Mondays 10-12 ish.

it is at the frontline centre on the corner of Lawrence Road, which is just off Gainsborough Road, which is off Smithdown Road, near the big Asda!

fastasleep · 18/11/2004 17:39

Ooh Spirited Away is meant to be one the greatest manga movies ever made lol ...but if you didn't enjoy Hero - you're doomed! LegleBegle.. people do bring smaller babies to Sticky Fingers, but usually only with their older syblings... Theo's one of the young ones...I just missed out on going to the Monday group as he started crawling very young!

MummyToSteven · 18/11/2004 21:48

but i won't be going to fact next thursday after all, as it is DH's gran's funeral

mumwithnoname · 18/11/2004 22:29

Picking your brains!! Going to Lpool to the theatre tomorrow (Empire) any good places to eat at first (not too dear!!!)? {smile)

mumwithnoname · 18/11/2004 22:29

OOPs !!!!

MummyToSteven · 18/11/2004 22:31

Kimos - sort of mediterranean cafe that does kebabs (nice, honest!) and pizzas and things is very cheap - on mount pleasant, so say ten minutes walk from Empire. even nearer - Head of Steam pub at Lime St station. I think they serve food till seven. otherwise there is a chinese buffet place near Lime St station sort of at the front of St Johns shopping centre.
