Brockwell Park!

What about a Brockwell Park meet-up? So many current MN-ers are in Brixton and surrounding areas, and so many others have nostalgic memories of Brockwell Park from when they used to live here.

An informal picnic close to the cafe on weekend afternoon? A breakfast in the cafe?

I can think of me, Bossykate, Batters, Bungalowbelle, Zeitgeist, Hallgerda, the people who were on that coat-ripping-bus thread, Spidermama, Rowan1971, Floating, Tiredteacher, SandraDee, Evey, Serenity, Drospophila (I think).

Who's up for it?

Just found the threat and can not believe it's my 4 years old party.Never mind another time.

serenity, the cafe's in the mansion - you can't miss it . I think there might be one small ride-on train on the edge of the park, but if I see a sheep I'll know rowan1971's been spiking our cake .

I'm really looking forward to coming but like batters, if it's raining, I'll wimp out. The cafe's pretty small and I've spent many a miserable hour huddling in there with my buggy waiting for the rain to ease off.

i thought i read below 2.30pm. but i will get there when i get there - dd still has a nap.

We're not moving to Tulse Hill anymore yay! My heart belongs in Streatham (never ever thought I'd utter that sentiment, in fact I feel quite dirty just thinking it.... eeeewww...) Anyway it's a long story and I'll explain Sunday.
BTW we should have arranged to meet in Dulwich park, the Green Fair is on. You could have brought your special plants Rowan...

We said 2.30 somewhere below - is that ok - and BK, we'll expect you when we see you? And you can rendezvous with those who haven't been arrested or accosting savages in bushes, or tripped off to Dulwich Park!

We used to live on Brailsford Road, next to Arlingford Road....have such happy memories of living there.

we had a groundfloor/basement flat.

ahhhhhh.........our courting days.....spent in bed naked watching endless cricket with strawberries and chablis and lots of sex.

sigh.

Well, half the point of this brockwell park meet-up is for those who have moved away but harbour memories of Brixton...you can lounge about fantsising about the cricket and that other thing you did! Chablis.
