As the last one, altho only 4 attended was very sucessful, I've decided to start a new thread.

How about we meet up on a Friday Evening as that seemed to be popular with most mums. Or we can always do a day meet up with kiddies.

Much as I love & adore my DS, the evening one was much more relaxed and enjoyable, so I vote for that one.

Now lets choose a date????

29th is fine by me.

We will be in Aldridge by then so should be able to ask inlaws to have DD if DP is b=not home in time.

Mez we aint sure yet where we are going to be, we rely on Jampot as she lives Solihull way.

I think it will be close to Solihull but prob not in the centre, as its too busy in the centre.

Hi ladies - recommendation time:

Italian - Da Corrado (2 mins off j4 M42, A34 heading towards Brum)

Chinese - Jade Wok - Station Road, Solihull (just by Yates Wine Bar) - parking outside!!!

Indian - Ellora (High Street, Knowle - 5 mins off j5 M42 along Warwick Road towards Warwick)

I'm easy (as they say) so if you all just vote on it I can book a table at the appropriate venue!

JP - I easy on any of the choices. Lets see what any others want.

So we have
3 - easy on anything (RB, JP, LS)
1 - Chinese (MB)

JP is that Jade Wok the one on the Parade as you enter Solihull from the Station etc???? I think I know it, Yates is on the corner??? and there is a stationers???

If so, Parking outside, yeh right if you get there at 3am

Hi RB - yes you're right about the Jade Wok but surely a Wednesday evening should be okay for parking (i'll cruise past tomorrow and do a recci)

Chrissey - yes we agreed a date ages ago, and you said you were fine, its 29th September (Wedn)

JP - I love it do a recci, let us know what the parking is like .

So if the parking is ok, then Chinese it is, just need numbers

Confirmed: parking is available right outside Jade Wok for £1 'til the following morning (in case any of us get lucky!!!)

There seemed to be loads of spaces when I checked on Thursday night but there is a new Weatherspoon bar opened next to Hogs Head but can't imagine it'll get too full..

Shall I book then?
