Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

Especially for shy mums in Derby...

I know there's an August Derby meet-up arranged, but how about a trip to Markeaton park for nomates and everyone who's volunteered to meet up with her (from the Relationships board)?

There are a few live threads about arranging a get together in the Derby / Burton / Tamworth areas.

So can I suggest lunch at Frankie & Bennies in Burton on Saturday 20th November - 12.30(ish)?
Good childrens menu, decent adult menu, plenty of free parking etc...

Let me know if you can make it and I'll book a table - easy ??!!

PS. I'll add this message to the other threads as well.

hello,

as i said before quite flexible, but the one weekend I'm booked up is the 20th Nov, I'm going to be a very pregnant bridesmaid!!

So please let me know about the next meet, and i'll be there. I teach, so half term during the week is good, or sat afternoons/morning if Derby aren't playing. DH - makes me go, it's something we can do together he said!! Just realised how close we are to christmas - oh my goodness

petesmum i would normally love to come but that afternoon is DS1's school christmas fayre (i think...it says in my diary a possible date) which we really have to go to.
sorry not to have replied sooner but was ill last week and missed some threads.
have also had to dip out of midlands Chr bash because of another school commitment!
Love the idea of Saturday lunch tho. don't go changing this one for me but i could actually do the following week instead if you don't get lots of takers for this.
If not maybe after Christmas!
keep chattign

Hello,

lunch one saturday (bar the 20th Nov) sounds good.

How about it.

Petesmum · 05/11/2004 12:39

I could do lunch on Sat 11th December in Derby or Burton (or anywhere else within driving distance come to think of it!) Anyone else free then?

Petesmum · 08/11/2004 13:07

Beacuse I'm easily confused and the details for the Burton meeting are on 4 different threads, I've started a new one. Cunningly called "Burton meeting 20th Nov" Looking forward to seeing you all.
