I know there's an August Derby meet-up arranged, but how about a trip to Markeaton park for nomates and everyone who's volunteered to meet up with her (from the Relationships board)?

Right you lovely people, 1pm is fine, I can always go back to work later. You all know each other it appears so I'll be the one with a red rose and a copy of the local paper...racing round after three children! Actually I know what u look like Hula so will home in on you. Meetign by the pool good?

Unfortunately I can't make this one It's the second day of my summer holidays and we are off to my mum's in Wales. Shame cos I was looking forward to it.

But i'm sure there will be another I can come to, third time lucky maybe as I couldn't make the last one either.

They have a baby area, and if she is not walking you won't have to pay for her.

Just checking on progress ... 1 pm is fine by me. Will try and bring a friend for dd as she's a bit older than all the other kids unless redfiasco comes. Will definitely bring kids' swimming stuff if it's warm enough (they always think it's warm enough ...)

Oh, really hope weather stays nice. DD loves the paddling pool there, although I did get soaked last time! Will remember towel this time too.

And can we go on the train?

Discordia, actually I NEVER remember to have the paper with me...but always have a pen in my back pocket!
I look...shoulder length dark hair, 5ft6, size 12 or so; DS1 5, blond hair, DD 3, lightish hair in ponytail, baby DS2 15mo, cheeky grin in 3-wheeler. Will check out the moderators page, wherever that is...

Anyway diaster girls!
DH has it turns out arranged to go to the in-laws in Lincoln to get the kids' hair cut on Thursday oh no.
I'm so sorry about this, esepcially as I suggested the date in the first place...
But what I will do is come along anyway and maybe I can just chat to you all (if I had the smallies with me I would barely speak to you anyway with running about) ad get to know you a bit. Also can be a helper to anyone who needs an extra pair of hands (that's usually me lol)

Hi all. Just a warning that I am not sure if me and DD will be coming on Thursday after all. After DD's fall yesterday she is very tender, bruised and swollen and as there is still more bruising to come out I am not sure she will be up to it. I will see how she goes tomorrow and let you know but I doubt it really. I don't want her to be missing out on all the fun, watching everyone esle and unable to join in. At the moment every vibration or knock really hurts her

Really sorry.

we are having a meet up today (1pm) at the Mundy Play area in markeaton park, by the ticket booth.

WE are taking the kids swimmming things and a picnic lunch.

Hi all. Not going to make it today, sorry. DD's face is still a bit too swollen and bruised to risk her running about and climbing. Another knock would just hurt her too much and she isn't the type to just sit quietly if the others are playing. Hopefully we will make it to the park next time - and we will be at the party in August
