2cute, I would love to meet up with you and your ds but I have my NCT coffee this afternoon and once ds has woken up from his nap, I have to go sort out my MIL's bday present.

Are you free next week at all?

Puds - I'm running late as well so that works out great! DS just woke up a little while ago he needed a good nights rest after he's been kept up all week by n'mares.

I haven't given birth but have been so fucked off since that call from my Dad last night that I couldn't speak

I am very hormonal and feel like phoning him and telling him I never want to see him again in my life but I shan't as I need him to babysit and he'd better bloody turn up when we make that call.

Am going to ask DH to keep my Dad well away from me when I'm in labour or I'll tear his head off.

I dragged myself around Kew Retail Park to buy DS and DD a pressie from Monti and as soon as I got home burst into tears.

So is anyone still going to the Lollipop today? Am getting confused here...

puds it was very grown up, we sat in Chiswick High Rd House (new very posh restaurant and private bar) for 7 hours drinking champagne. I couldn't think of anything more grown up, our behaviour did let us down in the end

Sorry you are geting stressed out Foxie, just at the time you should be taking it easy. I was thinking about heading over to meet you lot this morning, but ds is in a fowl mood for some reason (I think he is tired from our visitors this weekend) and is liable to floor one of you dc's if they get in his way, so perhaps another day.

Maybe I will join you on the 10th as I can't make the 8th as dh is in NY. Mind you he only gets back on the saturday so will be pretty tired to deal with the kids. I will check with him this evening. Where are you planning to go?

Custy - sorry I can't do the 10th - though I would really love to come along.

Foxie - sorry to hear about your Dad - I think me, you and Sue have the same experiences with them. My dad doesn't like kids as well and he's a clown (yes really!). He hasn't even seen his first grandson. His loss. Don't worry too much about babysitting/lifts etc - just take it easy - it'll slot together in the end. Did you know that 4am seems to be the most popular time for babies to be born?

I had a really rough night again last night with ds - he was up every hour from 10pm and I've had no sleep whatsoever. Also dd1 is ill so it looks like I won't be able to get out today. But I had a couple of friends round for coffee this morning and one of them mentioned putting a radio on in ds' bedroom and he went off to sleep . Mind you, he's screaming now so I'd better go.
