My day off is Tuesday the week after next (17th) if you want to do something then chloe can hopefully join us as its her day off too. The weather might have improved by then too. I might be able to persuade Trace to come too.

so are we doing a local summer meet in school hols? would be good to do cawthorne or bretton again/ or leapfrogs if the weather continues!! i can't do the leeds one now it's ended up on a monday. Sarah - we have to meet up with you before your ds1 starts school!! (ps you do know me - i'm hiding. will explain when we meet)

I break up in two weeks - yipee!! I'm actually at home today, haven't been too well for last couple of days. That's how I can get onto this foul mouthed thread during the day!!

Notreallyflashgordon, do you work Mon- Wed? Phoenix, what's your day off w/c 23rd July? DSes in nursery for Tue and Wed that week so I can sleep and sleep and sleep and sleep but would be good to try and get a summmer meet in soon.

sarah - has anyone seen/heard from thirdwisemonkey? She hasn't been about for ages and I was thinking about her the other day (when I saw someone in Flockton on a motobility scooter). I think I'll email her and see if she is ok....

I emailed her and she is fine, been busy (how dare she?!). Will meet up with her soon. Weds 25th is no good for me coz I am escaping the kids for the day and running off to London to see my friends.

crap probably but I think we should plan to do something - we haven't all met up for ages and ages. How's everyone doing?
Sarah - did you find some shoes? I went past Dune in Leeds yesterday and thought of your quest. Looked a bit hectic in there tho with all the sale stuff going on. I bought some new shoes for L in Clinks and it took forever to find what I wanted because I was trawling the sale rail (ended up getting him the same shoes that he has had 2 pairs of already, I fear change ) G is on her hols in Spain with her best friend this week, the house is very quiet (but quite nice not having her tell me she's bored every 2 minutes!). Apparently it is boiling hot and hse is all brown - except her shoulders which have got burnt on the bony bits from poking out of the pool (happens every year - despite factor 50). Does anyone use UV suits for their LOs on holiday? I think I need to get one for L.....his ginger hair and the sun in spain in August do not go well together, do they?!

forever?????? Are you becoming a lazy part timer next term?
Go to Leeds for the shoes, it's nicer - there's daylight for a start (I hate MeadowHell - it makes me go mental ) and you can treat yourself to a nice lunch and everything (plus there are much better sales on in Leeds). Go on.....you know you want to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I plan to be part time forever Ginger!! Will only be on a temp contract for the next year so will have to see after that. Am having a Yr 6 class to share next year which will be fab - oh how long ago it seems in that bloody awful high school!!

Two proper teaching days, one trip day and two faffing around end of term days to go And the DSes are spending the night at my parents so off to pics to see Harry Potter - a bit secret though from DS1 as he would love to go but at 4 is just too young yet!!
