Hi everyone!

Since I've never met any of you before will you please give me a wave at the Sale or at the Crocodile Cafe so I know who you are?
I'm shortish with long hair & specs, and will be with my little one Carys who is a 9 week old redhead!

Looking forward to it!

Cheers!

SAM

Ixel · 04/07/2004 12:25

We'll try!!! Looking forward to meeting you!

Davros · 04/07/2004 14:18

I am planning on coming to the NCT sale today - if I can find the cufos centre, never heard of it.

august24 · 04/07/2004 22:41

So how did it go? Anyone hurt fighting people off at the NCT sale? ANyone interested in meeting on Thursday morning in the park?

suzywong · 04/07/2004 22:43

The Sale was very good (for me, I made my target taking). Mao Mao was my right hand woman and we met Davros and her DD and Couchpotato and her gorgeous baby.

Ixel · 05/07/2004 12:37

Hey, which ones were you? We were there ( me, LD, Scmauskin and signman, plus friends). I limited myself to £3, which showed great self control!

Davros · 05/07/2004 15:21

Shame we missed you all Ixel. Maomao and Suzywong were a blur of activity behind their tressle table (2nd on the left from door). I felt so exhausted watching them that I had to have a cup of tea a slice of home-made choccy cake.....

Ixel · 05/07/2004 15:54

i think we spent more money on cake than we did on baby sfuff!! Which wicked person decided to put fudge on the refreshments too?

bundle · 05/07/2004 15:56

wish i could have been there. suzy have you seen hoxtonchick lately? we really must put a child-free date in the diary..(upper st??)

Simi · 05/07/2004 16:03

Hi girls, I only registered with mumsnet yesterday, what a great website. My son is 11 weeks old and I was just wondering if any of you have a small baby as well and would like to meet up or know of any nice baby groups in the area as I hardly know any mums. I live in N1 Islington, just off Essex Road....

suzywong · 05/07/2004 18:45

bundle we really must get on the case, I leave London on 5th August.

bundle · 05/07/2004 18:51

omg! will talk to hc tomorrow when she's at work

bundle · 05/07/2004 18:51

(for good???)

suzywong · 05/07/2004 18:56

Yes, for good

bundle · 05/07/2004 18:56

I must have had my brian in a pot for months...where are you going to?

suzywong · 05/07/2004 18:58

LOL at that image!
Going to Australia, Dh is Australian so it's his turn to be at home

bundle · 05/07/2004 18:59

of course. the fog is clearing and my brian is climbing out of the pot back into my head. bit like the yolk getting back in a boiled egg.

LD · 07/07/2004 22:35

Hi, it seems I didnt put some names to faces. we should have worn mumsnet name tags so we could spot those we hadnt met before. Anyway i got a couple of fab bargains and it was nice to see everyone again. Off on my holiday next week so if anyone is free the week of the 12th to meet for coffee maybe we could do a crouch end meetup?
LDxx

Ixel · 09/07/2004 11:55

I'd better put in an early bid for 13th, as am busy 12th, and then off to sunny Shropshire for 2 weeks as of 14th!!! Have a great hol LD.

justus3 · 16/07/2004 23:58

greetings one and all,

You all seem to know eachother so well.... I feel a bit shy of all ya. I'm a single mum of twin girls (3yrs), living in Crouch End. Usually go to Jeremy's sing along at Priory Park so wondering if I don't know any of you.... if only by sight. So how does one penetrate this clique of yours, you sound like you have a laugh... something I could use right now... have to go and watch Gil Scott-Heron documentry....

Ixel · 17/07/2004 19:22

Me, Fiona, and signman are meeting at 3pm tomorrow (tuesday), if anyone wants to join us! Venue:Crouch End, by the clock. Mission: to trawl the shops, then have a cup of tea whilst comparing bargains! Hope your hol was great, LD.

Davros · 17/07/2004 23:25

Shame, way too late for me as have to pick up DS from school...

karen99 · 18/07/2004 01:04

Hi guys hope to meet you again soon at BX. We should arrange another date in August.. when the dregs of the sales are left... (or is that all the time?!)

LD · 19/07/2004 10:11

Hi Karen99
I would be up for a BX meet up and its only 2 weeks now till August! where is the year going? Is anyone free for coffee this week, sorry about the week of the 12th last week, couldnt make it as we got back from holiday and I spent the whole week dealing with loads of washing etc boring eh! oh and settling DS back into some sort of routine.
take care all and if anyone is free this week maybe we could meet Thursday at either Crouch end or Muswell Hill whichever is easiest?

Schmauskin · 22/07/2004 18:35

Hi everyone! Can't wait to meet up with you all again soon and introduce you to little Blossom Durr - she's a week old today! Unfortunatley my c seaction means I've eally got to take things easy so it wont be for a while. Im just staying in bed, breastfeeding and trying to get to know my daughter!!
see you soon,

kate
