Hi I have a ds aged 4 and a half, and have moved to Merstham near Redhill, a few months ago. It would be really nice to email and maybe meet up with other mumsnetters nearby, if there are any! If anyone is interested please get in touch, take care.

hi kitkat, jollytot and funnytype,
yes, I enjoyed meeting you all yesterday as well and agree that we should arrange something again soon. Let's keep in touch.

funnytype · 01/09/2004 09:16

Hi MO2,

You are right about the email addresses. I think is up to the individual if they want to put their name or not as my opinion it makes it more friendly. How are you by the way, havent spoke to you for a while?

Jollytot, havent heard from BHS will let you know.

Have a good day girls.

Hi All

Also enjoyed meeting you all and looking forward to another meet-up.

MO2, thanks for the advice. A couple of your points I didn't think about and will be more careful. I would like to contact Mumsnet to see if this thread could be deleted but can't see a link. Any advice?

Mo2 · 01/09/2004 15:10

Kitkat - you can usually contact Mumsnet through a "Contact us" link on part of the home page if I remember, and ask them just to delete your posts.

Funnytype - I know what you mean about it being more personal, and many people do use their christian names at the end of messages.

Somehow I woudl feel uncomfortable if someone could work out my real name, my kids names and where I lived, together with my e-mail address from one thread - there are some weirdos out there!

(Or am I just paranoid??)

How are you all anyway? How did your interview go FT?

funnytype · 01/09/2004 17:52

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know I got the job and start on Saturday.

hi Funnytype, good luck tomorrow with your new job - hope you get some sleep tonight!
Jollytot - what are you thinking of studying?
Kitkat - I think you made a big impression on Holly. She says she wants to grow her hair like yours.
Have a good weekend everyone - hope you get to enjoy the weather.

funnytype · 03/09/2004 17:13

Hi Snowbell and everyone,

Hi Funnytype

Pleased to hear you had a good night with Isabella, hopefully the good nights will continue!

Am not sure if I will be able to have a night out next week at the mo but will let you know.

Snowbell - It was nice to hear that I made a good impression on Holly.

funnytype · 05/09/2004 09:46

Good morning girls,

Hope you are all well. I am not! I have a stinky cold and am so achy and tired from my first day at BHS. It went well but didnt wear very practical shoes so need to buy some this week.

Have a good Sunday.

HI girls

Hope you all had a great weekend.
What is it that you're doing at BHS, funnytype? Don't you just hate "practical" shoes?! What did you have in mind for a night-time meet-up? I'd be keen, but can't make next week.
Hope you all get a good night's sleep!

xx

funnytype · 06/09/2004 09:39

Good morning girls,

I would prefer next week for a meet up too as I have a stinky cold at the moment and want to get rid of that! Maybe we could meet for a drink somewhere, any ideas?

I am working in the Menswear dept on Sat and on Thursday nights in the Ladieswear.

Have a good day.

hi all, I'm up for a meet-up one evening. Think we should try and find somewhere more central to us all so Jollytot wouldn't have so far to travel. Can't think where at the moment.

funnytype · 07/09/2004 12:15

How about Horley/Salfords or maybe Reigate what do you think girls?

Have a good day.

Stephanie

Sounds good, am desperate for a girly-night out! Don't know where the other areas are, but Reigate is def. familiar! Mondays and Wednesdays are good for me. How about the rest of you?

funnytype · 08/09/2004 15:59

We could go for Reigate but cant make Monday or Wednesday. How about the following week girls?

That's fine for me. We're off to disneyland tomorrow and I can't wait, think I'm more excited than DD is! Anyone else doing something good this weekend? Geogteach, where are you? How is your DS doing now?

funnytype · 09/09/2004 14:39

Have a great time Jollytot when do you come back? I have hospital radio tomorrow night and working on Saturday. Sunday just resting.

Have a great afternoon and evening girls, I am working tonight for a couple of hours. See you tomorrow Kitkat for Jo Jingles.

Good morning girls,

Been a bit quiet on here. Hope you are all well.

So are we gonna have this girlie night out? I would actually prefer the week of 27th as will have some money then, how about a meal maybe?

Lets get this arranged very soon.

Have a great day.

Checked my diary and I can do 27th, 28th and 29th so lets agree on a date and get this girls night arranged!
