Redhill, or nearish?

Hi I have a ds aged 4 and a half, and have moved to Merstham near Redhill, a few months ago. It would be really nice to email and maybe meet up with other mumsnetters nearby, if there are any! If anyone is interested please get in touch, take care.

Monday would be better for me. Anybody else wanting to meet up on Saturday night? All the sudden I feel like we are the only two on here, funnytype. Where is everybody?

I dont know. It is a shame people dont post much as trying to organise a meet up is a nightmare! Hope we will see some activity soon if not would be lovely to meet you again Fatbetty even if it is just the two of us.

I am always here. I cannot do evening meet ups as I dont have a babysitter but during the days ones are good for me. No one ever replies to my mails either so I wouldnt worry about it.

Baby has just got chicken pox so I guess everyone wouldnt want to risk their kiddies catching it but the next day time meet up you guys have I will deffinatley be there. No just in general I mean. You email, message people then they just dont bother replying. Society now I guess x

That is the $60 million question! We are hoping to exchange contracts this week and then move the weekend of the 6th. We were hoping to move this weekend but things aren't moving as fast as we hoped.

hi sammie and fatbetty (which is the complete opposite to you)
thought id pop on and see how your all doing
have just got back from holiday which was good fun and celebrated no2 son 1st birthday cant get over how time goes so quick.
fatbetty i know what the stress is like moving we have house on the market for a few weeks and have seen 6 houses but have now changes our mind think we might wait till the boys are older.
apart from noisy neighbours nothing else to report
how are you all are you meeting up soon

Hi Brambles! Glad to hear that you had a fab holiday! Hope you are feeling nice and relaxed.

Would believe that we still haven't exchanged yet on the house!!! DH and I are very frustrated with the whole thing as we were hoping to have moved by now. And to make matters worse my Mom is coming to visit in 2 weeks time (which would have been lovely to be the new house and not move while she is here). UGH! We are just afraid now that everything is going to fall through. Good news is we had an offer on our house! At least that side is moving (fingers crossed).
