Hi I have a ds aged 4 and a half, and have moved to Merstham near Redhill, a few months ago. It would be really nice to email and maybe meet up with other mumsnetters nearby, if there are any! If anyone is interested please get in touch, take care.

Good where is it? Am I looking before the roundabout with Sainsbury's local or after?

Report
Mo2 · 18/08/2004 13:33

Er.. Geogteach - I don't know where you're talking about!!
The pub is actually NOT in the centre of Horley.. it's just off the main A23 just before the A23 meets the A217 at a big roundabout with an Esso station and a Hotel (The Rennaissance or something?)
Have a look here

Here's the better Multimap

Church Road actually looks very much like a long residential road, so don't be put off - the pub is tucked away right at the end of it, and there's a biggish car park.

Hi Cathytom and others! I live in Redhill and have a DD aged 2.5. I've just seen this thread - I would have loved to come last night. Anyone want to meet up soon during the day? I would love to meet some local MNetters.

Morning!
Nice to see everyone last night - and I think we recruited a new MN-er! (Funnytype's friend!)

Hi - Snowbell - shame you couldn't make it last night. I work during the day, but I'm sure there are other MNers who will be keen to meet up.

Hi Everyone

Consider me recruited! Having had a look at this site I can see myself becoming addicted as well.

I enjoyed meeing you all and hope we can do it again sometime soon.

MO2 - If you would like to sell your highchair within the next few weeks please send photo to [email protected] - thanks

Hurrah - welcome KitKat...... as others will attest, it's a slippery slope once you discover Mumsnet....

Will have a chat to dh (and DS2 !!) about the highchair, and we might try to persuede him to start using the booster this weekend - if it works I'll e-mail you!

Hi all

I have two little girls aged 3 and 1 and live in Caterham. Feel a bit like a voyeur reading your emails and not introucing myself, so HI! Sounds like you all had a great time last night. Would love to meet up sometime. I'm also free during the day if anyone would like to meet up then.

Report
geogteach · 19/08/2004 20:02

Had a good time last night too, obviously get online later than the rest of you though! I'm also at home during the day - Thursday and Friday's are best as I have both kids and don't tend to have much else planned. jollytot , my kids are the same age as yours and my mum lives in Caterham!

jollytot · 19/08/2004 20:12

Geogteach, I've just read some of your previous emails (the voyeur thing again) and I see you're going for number 3. Aren't you the brave one! We're still deliberating over that one. When are you due? By the way, my eldest is at pre-school until 1, so a meet-up on any of those days would be great in the afternoon, particularly if your ds would be around too to entertain the little darling. It's always good to be around other people in similar situations, ie messy house, screaming kids, not being able to finish a sentence...

Jollytot, due 7th October (yes i'm mad). Not sure how next week will be as DS has minor op tommorow, but try and arrange a meet up soon.

Hello Funnytype and Snowbell

Am compoletely fed-up of all this rain and hope we have some good weather very soon. Thankfully I have relatives in France and just might go for a visit just to get away from this horrible weather.

I'm able to meet-up on Tuesday. Does Tuesday work for you both?
