August Derby meet up

As promised ere is the thread for the August meet up.

I have provisionally booked a party at Bumpis on Thursday 5th August at 11.15am.

This will be a joint party for my DD who will be 2 on August 1st and Ronniebaby's DS who will be 4 on 6th August.

We need at least 8 people and as I will need to pay a deposit soon I will also need to know definite numbers as soon as possible.

I have just spoken to Adrian re the question that have come up.

Under 1 but not walking will not have to pay unless thay want to have the party food.

Deposit DOES come off final balance.

Do not need to give definite numbers until on the day. I have said there will be approx 14 so if there is any more I will let them know.

Hi Chrissey.

THe party is at 11.15am, Thursday 5th August There is a link to the website in the first message of this thread.

THe cost is £7.95 per child which is payable on the day.

I think that is it, but feel free to ask if you are unsure about anything.

Although Bumpi's have said that we don't need to give definite numbers until on the day, it would be good if everyone that is going to be there could post a definite YES or NO on this thread on Wednesday 4th August.

I will check here around 8am on the day and call to d=give them the numbers then.

I have received confirmation that they have got the depositand also got some invitations as well.

Would any one you mid if RB and I invite a couple of friends along as well?

Never been to bumpis before and don't drive so how easy is it to get to using public transport?

And also, ds1 will be fine at almost 4 in August, but will my dd be too young at 22 months then?

If you look on the link posted on the first message on this thread it gives you details of public transport. There are a few buses that go that way.

Also your DD is not too young at 22 months. We first went in February this year when my DD was 18 months and she had a fab tinme
