August Derby meet up

As promised ere is the thread for the August meet up.

I have provisionally booked a party at Bumpis on Thursday 5th August at 11.15am.

This will be a joint party for my DD who will be 2 on August 1st and Ronniebaby's DS who will be 4 on 6th August.

We need at least 8 people and as I will need to pay a deposit soon I will also need to know definite numbers as soon as possible.

Hope to see you then.

might be interested, can't get the webpage to play nicely runtime error or soemthing, where abouts is it? will depend if i can get car or not or if someone is driving from sheffield with space for me and DD and her car seat

katzguk - I will be going in the car and will have space for you and your DD Mond you, bear in mind that I have been twice and both times managed to get lost

Bumpi's is right in to Derby, on Ascot Drive (find it on Multimap!), about 5 minutes drive maximum from Pride Park Stadium.

hi hulababy can i please beg a lift? i don't really like driving but am normally a first class navigator, please not knowing everyone is a bit daunting so going with a friendly face would be nice

No problem at all katzguk. They are all a retty friendly bunch to be honest (well, most are..... only joking ) ) And you have et Wedgiesmum before - at Zoobys!

And having someone to remind me not to take that first road off the roundabout (I think it should be the second road) would be fab! I made same mistake twice - ask Maisystar, she was with me last time and had to help navgate us back a different route! LOL!

Definitely coming!! Got the job and am now taking ALL the summer holidays off to spend with DS and DD so can come. We go to Wales on the Saturday after the party so maybe will see discordia on the beach !!!!

My sister+family are coming over that week, not sure which day yet. Don't think her children will be interested in coming along; 14, 16 and 17 y...
ds will definitely be interested in coming to the next party...

WM - well CONGRATULATIONS on getting the job.

Hula - we are all really nice, cheeky mare

Katzguk - Madamebutterfly (MB) will need the money, but she is in Scotland til Saturday, but will be online prob Friday night, she will no doubt check this and post accordingly. I hope you are a good navigator as Hula always goes wrong and arrives 49 mins late (luv ya Hula )

Discordia - it was good meeting you and hope you enjoy the beach etc, we'll defo see you on the next meet up.

Undecided - if you cant make, well there'll always be next time.

Chrissey - great you're coming, I'll check with Mez next week as to the lift etc unless she posts before I see her.
