yea we have been pocked too so not worried!!
Gingerbread cottage is on ring road towards horsforth just after McD's.
Cake good there. and I enjoyed the BLT!!!
Would have loved to come today, but I really should do something more than sit in Whaky type places!!!

Hello claire22. Of course you can come! If you are free monday there's a couple of us meeting up because we've never met before so it would be nice to have a familiar face on the 23rd!!! We are meeting at 10.30 at the wacky warehouse at the Lawnswood arms, otley road, you are very welcome (and so is anyone else if they fancy it!)

I think it is pretty easy, I haven't been before so had a look for directions and it is on Otley road which is one big long road that goes from Headingley to Otley. I would think there would be loads of buses that go there too, the metro website would give you the numbers and times.

I can't make the pre-meet meet up on 12th but will def go to CoolCats on 23rd. I will be the new mum who doesn't look very sure of what she's doing! My dd will be 5 weeks old then.

The Wacky is in the Lawnswood Arms on Otley Road (left hand side as you head out of Leeds). Here's a map.

The number 1 runs up there from the middle of town, as does the X84. The postcode's LS16 7PH if you want to do a search on buses (no train station nearby).

And congrats to vino, I don't think I knew your dd had been born! Hope all's going well.

Gingerbread Cottage is really cute isn't it?! I had a gingerbread man! (and some carrot cake but only because it was left over and I thought it was rude to waste it!)
Vinorouge you're very brave to go out with baby! I was so nervous and miserable I stayed in for AGES!!!
On Monday at Whacky what does everyone look like?! How will I know who to look for?! I'm short with long dark messy hair! and dd wears a red dufflecoat!

I'm tall with short black hair and glasses, I'll wear red ones so you can notice me a bit easier!!! DS is a toddler (16 mths)has curly ginger hair and usually wears rugby shirts (looks like a rugger bugger already!!!!)

You could try and congregate by the brown leather sofas, my ds is a big fan of these (and they don't tend to be in use as they are a bit far from the climbing frames etc to keep an eye on little ones). At least then you could form your own gathering!

I Like to sit on the sofas, then you can pretend you aren't in a Whacky!!!
I am shortish, fatish and oldish!!!! oh and pregnant!
Will have 3 boys with me, maybe 4 and maybe my DD too. I might get there about 10ish, if anyone else wants to get there a bit earlier.

Ignore the oldish and the fattish (barring the pregnant-ish aspect), AM looks early 30s in my view, she has short hair blonde-ish.
