auntymandy · 04/02/2007 07:49

Its our half term that week, but should be ok as I still have Tribpots little one, so yes the 12th should be good. what time can you make it for?

About 10.30? Is that ok? I'll wait til the traffic has gone and set off. It takes me about 30/40 mins to get to your end of Leeds, I think.

sarahsbump · 04/02/2007 17:56

Hi all x
Im really looking forward to this meet now
There are two small carparks on the side road of cool cats so parking in the morning shouldnt be a problem
Tatties just let me know what time you will be arriving and I will try and get there about the same time and meet you-it takes about 20 minutes to walk from the station but its very straight forward. Incase I dont see it on the thread you can email me [email protected] if you like.

Blimey! You've got your hands full there!!!! Have you stopped at 3 or are you planning another one (I'd like 4, but DH is not so keen)I'm surprised you can even get out the house, I just about manage with 1 at home! School holidays are an absolute nightmare, we struggle to look decent for lunch time!!! Well, I look forward to meeting you all. I've had a look on the internet for directions and it looks really easy to find so I'll see you there next mon at 10.30 (but I'll be lurking about til then!)

tribpot · 05/02/2007 19:05

If I might interject - ds is actually 19 months I'm sure you can appreciate the difference.

auntymandy · 05/02/2007 19:08

wow!!!!!! I don't think there are many people out there who have more than 2 these days! That's really wonderful, I love big families, it's my dream! A messy house, a few cats and kids wellies everywhere... I'm very jealous of your brood!

manuka · 05/02/2007 22:27

Hello! I'm in Leeds and would love to meet up with some mums. Can me and my stinky tots come too on the 23rd??

gingermonkey · 06/02/2007 08:36

The more the merrier!

milkymill · 06/02/2007 09:51

Hi everyone, had a busy weekend so haven't been checking. Can' make it on the 12th i'm afraid, got a friend coming to stay with her 2 boys for the week. 4 little ones under the age of 4 in our little house will be interesting . Def still up for the 23rd though! I'm in Burley-in-Wharfedale btw Auntymandy.

manuka · 06/02/2007 15:28

Hello again! What time are you going to The Lawnswood whacky?? That day might be better for me and Smelly Bums. Never been there before. dd is 7 months is that an ok age for somewhere like that or is it for older babies???

tribpot · 06/02/2007 15:44

manuka, there's a baby area in the wacky for small ones to avoid being jumped on by bigger ones!

auntymandy · 06/02/2007 17:19

meeting up aboyt 10.30.
Milkymill, bring your friend and her kids too, gives you time to just sit and drink tea whilst they entertain themselves!!!

auntymandy · 06/02/2007 17:35

Anyone fancy an afternoon after half term at Gingerbread cottage. just been today with Ds it was lovely only having 1!! Meant I could spend the money I saved on the enterance fee on a BLT hot chocolate and a piece of flapjack!!!!

milkymill · 06/02/2007 18:50

Can't do 12th auntymandy, she's arriving then. Hi notanotter, where are you?

manuka · 06/02/2007 19:01

what's gingerbread cottage like?? I'm going there tomoro with some friends. we're all ginger bread virgins! Could murder a gingerbread man now do they have them there?! If anyone wants to join us they're more than welcome. going around 2ish

manuka · 06/02/2007 19:04

Auntymandy I think you're very brave having so many children! I only have one and that's enough for me!! Always wanted 3 but have discovered how lazy I really am!

tribpot · 06/02/2007 19:22

I can confirm, though, that auntymandy's children are lovely, perhaps that helps?!

manuka · 06/02/2007 19:37

Yes that would most definitely help!!She's obviously a 'super mum'! My uncle had 7 children all of them completely insane (all grown up now!) but when we were young they used to scare the bejeezuz out of me! Throwing knives at eachother and all sorts!!! Horrid horrid!

tribpot · 06/02/2007 19:52

She is a supermum. I have every confidence her kids are not throwing knives at each other (ds has never returned with any suspicious puncture wounds!)
