Sorry I can't make it (especially as the mini-meet up on 18/02 has fallen through). Will keep a look out for the next one.

I'm still up for it - got it written in the diary so I don't forget I'm looking forward to meeting everyone too!

Tatties · 22/01/2007 11:43

If I am feeling brave I might come to this...
I don't live in Leeds any more (but fairly close) so would be getting the train - it will all depend on how organised I am!

DizzyBint · 22/01/2007 11:45

yes come on tatties. i'm being brave, it's written on the calendar now..

gingermonkey · 22/01/2007 19:09

Tatties, I'm in wakefield so technically I'm hijacking the meet! Come along and we can be a couple of hijackers together (bet no-one notices we're outsiders!) Where are you?

KoshkaAndJake · 22/01/2007 21:31

Tatties - im in Harrogate so im a hijacker too!

gingermonkey · 25/01/2007 11:07

Haven't got anything to say, just bumping so it stays on threads I'm on list! Hello everyone

milkymill · 29/01/2007 22:30

Hello, sorry to be cheeky and crash in like this. I'm Kerry and i'm new to the area and this site. I have 2yr old and 6 mth old. I don't know any other mums around here yet and i would love to get out and socialise a bit! Is there any chance of me joining you?

gingermonkey · 30/01/2007 08:42

Of course. Where have you moved from?

milkymill · 30/01/2007 10:34

Thanks, we moved from Tamworth in staffs but i'm originally a brummie. Is coolcats like a wacky warehouse then?

gingermonkey · 30/01/2007 19:13

yes. I've never been, it's quite new. I have heard good things tho. I think it's better for slightly older kids, I have a 16 mth ds (but he'll have fun anywhere so we're going to give it a go!). I'm originally from Suffolk, been up here for 8 years (still clinging on to my accent tho!) . It's hard to make friends when you are new in town, I remember that feeling well - so it will be lovely to meet you.

milkymill · 31/01/2007 08:45

We lived in Huntingdonshre for a while, don't know if you're familiar with that area? Sort of near Suffolk. Dd is 25 mths and usually fearless. She can be a bit clingy around other kids though, and tends to shout 'mommy' from the top of unreachable places in wacky warehouse a lot! lol. Do you all know eachother?

sarahsbump · 31/01/2007 10:15

Hi Milkymill
I am originally from worcestershire and my brother lives in Birmingham I have lived in Leeds for 2 years now
I went to cool cats the other day and DS loved the ball pool (was the only thing he could really do ) It was quite nice and the kids seemed to be having a great time.
The best part is that under 1's get in for free
Im really looking forward to meeting everyone x

Tatties are you getting the train to leeds station? If so I am walking in from there if you fancy meeting up and going with someone? let me know x

gingermonkey · 31/01/2007 11:31

I think some people know each other, but I haven't been on a Leeds meet up before. I live in Wakefield, but use Leeds more really. (better shops etc) I'm looking forward to it, it's nice to get out of the house!!!!

Tatties · 31/01/2007 14:50

Well it's on my calendar now too so I can't back out

Sarahsbump - yes I will be walking from the train station, it would be great to have someone to go with I'm not sure how early I can get there atm though. I shall check out train times and let you know.

burnsy555 · 31/01/2007 15:18

What time are we planning to meet? Do we have to book or will we just turn up? (getting quite excited about it now!)

gingermonkey · 31/01/2007 15:27

We said 9.30 but had to check opening times first, because it might open later. I don't think anyones checked yet though. Either way, it will be the morning And we can just turn up.

auntymandy · 02/02/2007 11:51

I might go next week with a friend, so I can check out parking etc!!!
Where do you live now Milky?
i am up for a small pre meetup meetup if anyone wants to as I wont know anyone on the day, so it would be nice to have met one or two beforehand!

gingermonkey · 02/02/2007 16:38

I'm free most days, except weds and fri so if you want to meet up before the other meet then let me know. I'll keep watching the thread

auntymandy · 03/02/2007 07:27

ok, are mornings or afternoons best for you?
Where are you? I am cookridge so tend to do Whacky at Lawnswood or gingerbread cottage. Does that suit you?

OP posts:
gingermonkey · 03/02/2007 08:48

Probably mornings are best, I have to pick up dd from school at 3.20. I am over in wakefield so I don't know either of those, but have car, will travel! Just let me know the address of either one and I will find it
