foxie

if no one needs a ride thru brentford i can just as easily come via yours and get you 3.

foxabout2pop · 15/01/2007 18:14

Paddle - oooh DS would like that - squashed up next to your DD in the back of your car !!!!

2Cute · 15/01/2007 23:34

You forgot me off the list
Quokka - Not too sure if you saw my post last wednesday seeing if you still have space for me to bring DS to the party. Looks like there's alot of people going now so no worries if its fully booked.

snowmum · 15/01/2007 23:36

No, don't have a people carrier and unfortunately don't have much of a life either!

mellownomore · 16/01/2007 11:39

Hi,
Logging in from work. Boss is not in today.

PC,
Thanks for buying the pressie. I'll pay you back on Sunday.

quokka · 16/01/2007 13:25

sorry guys been really busy, thanks PC for ordering the pressie! I'm sure this is going to be a winner for years to come.

2cute its fine to come along they are easy with numbers and the hall is huge. This is going to be bigger than ds1's 1st bday party . I think its a good excuse to get us all together for a gossip anyway . I pretty sure you can park in the school grounds on Sunday, just drive through the gates (we usually do). Just if my dh asks then I have met you all in rl. I can just hear it "oh so you put an open invitation on the net?"

Paddlechick666 · 16/01/2007 13:28

pmsl quokka! when you say it like that it does sound dodgy.

dd is doing a lot of blowing today lol.

quokka · 16/01/2007 13:30

I had a little windmill thing that we were all blowing. Ds2 been practising for his bday cake all day today.

MrsBigD · 16/01/2007 13:39

ds has a windmill thing and is getting rather frustrated as he can't get it to spin properly. So it is now a bashing dd with instrument...

btw anybody doing anything tomorrow? I really should get on with sorting out the flat to get rid of stuff but so can't be botheres somebody rescue me!

See you there Quokka Do you need any help with anything?

Paddle - I'm happy to contribute to the trampoline, fab idea BTW! Will give you the money on the weekend.

BigD - Can't do tomorrow but a few of us are meeting on Thursday if you're free?

sfxmum · 16/01/2007 15:32

speaking of open invitesi might make it to lollipop on thursday, must check what time the visitors are arriving that afternoon

mrsB might be free tomorrow morning but not huge on ideas about what to do was probably just amble over to Kew if you are interested or have other ideas

MrsBigD · 16/01/2007 16:56

2cute, can't do Thursdays as I'm child free with ds being in nursery and dd in school, which means I have 5h to whizz through their room and 'liberate' old toys

SFX I'll have a think re tomorrow. Depending on weather Kew is nice, but looking at the forecast... urgh

oh I wish I had time to meetup . I should be alright for Sun, just have to make the cake. But can't seem to find a 30cm square cake tin????? The CPC are doing everything else . Thinking about it, still have party bags to do and get some decorations.

snowmum · 16/01/2007 17:47

Quokka, you can hire cake tins from the cookshop (think its called Kooks Unlimited) in Richmond on Eton Street opposite Argos. I (stupidly) once volunteered to bake a cake for my niece, the cake had to feed 50 people!! Hired the tins from this place. You may have to ring and reserve the size of tin you need though.

Paddlechick666 · 16/01/2007 17:49

Lordy Quokka, you're good!

Hafta say I never bothered with party bags for dd's 1st birthday.

Bet you could skip 'em and save yourself the hard work!!

2Cute · 16/01/2007 19:10

You're baking the cake yourself? Wow, Quokka's new name = Supermum! Will they put the decorations up for you? If not, we could come a bit earlier and help you.

quokka · 16/01/2007 19:23

was just thinking about the older ones with party bags, but I may have to skip them anyway!

I like making cakes ds2 had La La last year and year before that he had a ginger cat. Womens weekly do great kids cakes that are relatively easy to make - believe me I am no proffesional! My mum always made our cakes, so I suppose I got the bug from her.

quokka · 16/01/2007 19:25

excuse my spelling!

snowmum, went to Kooks unlimited today to get a tin, and the only one they had was £39

sfxmum · 16/01/2007 19:33

quokka there is small specialist shop in Richmond but bit expensive don't know the name and if in Ealing Daniels used to have a good selection

quokka · 16/01/2007 19:46

I think thats Kooks I mentioned before. Nevermind one will find its way to me, otherwise I will rethink. I can always hire one fron Kooks, but can't be arsed driving there again before Sat.

xoxo · 16/01/2007 19:52

HI - quick dip in - I believe that kooks also rent out tins.

Have a fab birthday party Billy (via Quokka). sorry we will miss it but will def meet up soon.

pudding77 · 16/01/2007 19:53

It seems like a good thing we didn't come round today quokka!

sfxmum · 16/01/2007 20:07

so it is kooks apologies can't think of any other about from lakeland but probably not here on time although they seem to be helpful

Paddlechick666 · 16/01/2007 21:46

rissoles Quokka!
