Ok everyone who has paypal and wants to donate £10 can send it through to lauren akers @ yahoo dot com. All the others can send cheque or give me the money when I see then next.

I have a travel cd case, that is very light which the dvd's can be put into. If you want to write your name on the dvd's, or make a note of what your sending (if you want them back). I will put some tea bags in as well, and any other ideas would be great! I have a box that everything can be put into.

Paddlechick666 · 20/12/2006 09:20

i've paid. btw there is no space between quokka's first and last name - it's all one word.

dhl will have a box you can put everything into when you get to the drop off point. it's a standard 2kg box.

i'm assuming that dhl prices are same as fed-ex.......

i've got some dvds and some green and blacks and will put some organix alphabet biscuits in for daniel. i read somewhere he was enjoying his biccies.

teabags are a great idea!

JackieNoHoHo · 20/12/2006 09:22

Have emailed you Quokka.

mellowchristmas · 20/12/2006 09:47

Hi all,
I haven't been around as I've been busy posting E-bay items. Doing a spare room clearout pre-Christmas as MIL is coming to stay.

Foxie,
I don't go with the big name broadband providers as I find they are generally crap. I know because I used to work in the ISP/telecom market. So, I go to specialist providers. We switched from Freedom2surf to Fast4 because of price.

Fast4 is offering an up to 8 mbit connection @ £15.95 with no contract (we don't like contracts as there's always a better deal every 12 months). If you're thinking of switching, you'll need a Migration Authorisation Code (MAC from BT). It took a week for us to get it and the code, I think, is good for a month.

harktheheraldfoxessing · 20/12/2006 10:03

Thanks for that Top Tip Mellow.

Paddle/Quokka - Is it OK if I drop the £10 off through Paddle's door? In theory I could drop at yours Quokka, but in practice I don't have a spare minute. Paddle I could drop it over Thurs or Fridays pm??

harktheheraldfoxessing · 20/12/2006 10:22

We have our corporate "do" today. At 10.30 a coach takes us to a huge restaurant, where we get wined and dined from 11am until 5pm, then have a choice of a coach back, or staying for the disco!!

mellowchristmas · 20/12/2006 10:28

Have fun foxie!

hoxohoxohoxo · 20/12/2006 11:56

quokka: have paypalled you - thanks for taking up the reins.

Paddle: will have parcel of dvds ready for pick up tmrw morning.

ds has toncilitis (sp?) - took him to doc last night. still knee deep in puke and snot, but hey ho (should that be ho ho ho?)
But recovering quickly as antibiotics are taking the swelling off his very sore and red tonsils. started working within 30 mins, and he then said he was really hungry. v happy mummy

prob will still avoid outdoor adventures though.

am dead jealous of fab sounding parties. if anyone fancies a snot party, come here!

JackieNoHoHo · 20/12/2006 13:31

Quokka - the cheque is in the post (no idea when it will arrive though, what with all the Christmas post).

MrsBojangles · 20/12/2006 13:55

mine are thankfully not snotting anymore. Chin up oxo it'll get better. Today was the first day ds has eaten properly and he's made up for 3 days of not doing so

BTW when's the thing at Pudding's tomorrow?

got 5 mins to sit down now..........

pudding77 · 20/12/2006 20:17

Evening everyone. Just a quiet night here as usual! Went to Kew today & it was freeeezing.. quite nice though with all the fog. Had to skip C&C as everyone seemed to be there.

I guess I'll have a busy morning tomorrow with drop offs and things!! If anyone wants to come for tea & mince pies (store bought I'm afraid, I haven't found my recipes yet!) then 10am onwards. I know I've emailed a few people my address but if you need it then its probably best to text me now on 07946 513763.

Have a good night, off to get some tea.

Nanou1 · 20/12/2006 22:23

harktheheraldfoxessing · 21/12/2006 08:51

Nanou - 7am!! you poor thing!! How long have you got off work?

Hoxhoxo - snot party sounds right up my street right now, is it a bring and share?

Woke up this morning with mouth hanging open, sore dry throat and dried snot all over my face!! This is me we're talking about, not the LOs !!

Paddle, R the shops getting manic now? I popped in M&S last night for some Chritsmas yummies and it was quiet, which was a bit odd.

Will drop that tenner through your door this arvo or tomorrow. (depending on traffic and how unruly the kids are when I pick them up from school at 2pm)

You know those tubs of mini choc rolls and stuff, well they've got a Christmas one which is choc rolls with Baileys cream it [licking lips emoticon]

harktheheraldfoxessing · 21/12/2006 08:53

ps will be offline from 1pm today until Dell deliver my new PC, so if anyone needs to contact me, you can text/call 07779-289-041

2quokkasandapeartree · 21/12/2006 08:58

I think the best time to go food shopping over Christmas is dinner time when everones eating. Been doing that for years and always seem to miss the rush. I lived on those choc mini rolls while preggers foxy, the Baileys one sound yum!

mincepiepud · 21/12/2006 09:42

Dh tends to do the shopping after ds has gone to bed and says its never very busy then.
