Here are one or two suggestions, depending on who wants to come...feel free to add your own!

The Old Manor in Potters Bar, lovely pub restaurant with great food, mixed, mainly English style.

Via Pensiare in Radlett. Lovely lovely Italian restaurant frequented by Madonna and Vinny Jones.

My local curry house - yum yum - The Viceroy in Bricket Wood.

I won't be. I'll be thinking I'd better stagger off to King's Cross and get a train to St Albans I shall be wearing my tiara all day, along with my anorak.

I just idly dropped in to look at this thread - because I am v nosy - and was thrilled to see my name on the list!!!

Not sure why though as I'm in Lancs...should it be one of the other jans, or was it just a total brainstorm?

Hi Girls, can I please make a suggestion? Would anyone mind if we moved everything half an hour earlier, ie. meet for drinks at 7:30pm and on to eat around 8-8:30pm?

It's just that we're around 45mins away and I have three drop-offs to do which means I'll most likely get home around 12:30am myself if we leave SA at 11pm. I just know I'll find driving home at that time quite hard as I'm out on Friday night too and haven't done 'two late nights in a row' in AGES. Thinking of my passengers here. But if this makes things difficult we can meet at 8, my party will still have to leave around 11

Is that ok with everyone? 7:30 at Hot Coles, the move onto Wagamamas (St Christophers Place) around 8-8:30?

Also mudda mentioned that parking gets difficult on a Sat. night. Is there a backup plan for parking janstar?

Really looking forward to it

Morning all...

Wish I didn't feel so bleary been working non stop from 3 Thursday afternoon till 7 last night, didn't even stop for meals, now my eyes feel all funny Hey, no problem now is my big day off I have been looking forward to for so long

Right...all the directions are further down this thread...all in centre of St Albans, easy to find.

So its meet between 7 and 8 in Hot Coles, Victoria St - next door to Casa down through a little archway and then later moving on to Wagamama's in St Christopher's Place.

I will be arriving from London by train, already pissed from the afternoon anorak's convention I am going to If there is anyone coming from King's Cross let me know and we can meet there and travel together.

If there is anyone who wants my mobile number for in case of getting lost, please email me through contact a talker before 12 noon as I will be separated from my darling computer for the rest of the day after that.

Kayleigh and Melsy also have my number if anyone comes in late.

I'll post later when I've decided what to wear so that you don't have to identify me by my pissed state
