Here are one or two suggestions, depending on who wants to come...feel free to add your own!

The Old Manor in Potters Bar, lovely pub restaurant with great food, mixed, mainly English style.

Via Pensiare in Radlett. Lovely lovely Italian restaurant frequented by Madonna and Vinny Jones.

My local curry house - yum yum - The Viceroy in Bricket Wood.

Melsy.. no didn't think it was a dig.. I was just ashamed I was the one throwing all the dates around!

Yes, final vote is June 5th at Wagamammas. Do we need to book a table? I'll leave it to someone else to tot up the numbers!

I'm the nearest to Cori and Tammybear, but can only fit one more carseat in my car.. Cori, it's quite straight forward to get to St. Albans if you know how to get to Stanmore (we talked about this before). I can pickup Tammybear and we can follow each other up if that helps? Or I can email you directions? What do you think?

Why don't we meet somewhere else at 8 and have cocktails - then have a table booked at Wagamamas for later - say 9 o'clock?

That will give any latecomers a chance to catch up.

IME the bars and pubs of St Albans get packed after 8.30 or so, so trying to find a watering hole after dinner might not be so easy.

you cant book wagammams its just got really really long bench tables. Im sure we will have no probs getting in , as Ive been witha large grp before. A drink before sounds good to me.
