Weather depending, we can meet somewhere like the Botanical Gardens.

I will have my DS with me

Looking forwad to putting faces to names

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 15:46

Ditsy, 1200 at the tram stop according to Hula.

Lisa78 · 19/05/2004 17:18

I'm here, I'm here! (some of us have a REAL life too you know Am lying )
Okay gingerbear, 11.30 exit to interchange walkway upstairs in M and S (have no idea where the interchange walkway is, or what it is, but know M and S so how hard can it be?!)
Will meet Hula at Cathedral tram stop as near to 12 as we can get it, will text Hula as getting on tram
have I got all my details right? (Bet I forget to get off the M62 onto the M1!!!)

Gingerbear, I am about 5 ft 2, shoulder length blonde hair. Will have DS2 with me who is 6 months old, very blonde. Will bring little stroller, so a blue / turquoise Mothercare Jive pushchair
Will be looking completely lost and slightly panicked, under veneer of casual lurking!!!

Lisa78 · 19/05/2004 17:20

Can I warm DS2's food and milk up at this place we are going to or will he just have to lump it?!

maisystar · 19/05/2004 17:39

am confused (more so than usual!) is it 12pm at tram stop or 12.30pm at zoobys?

Hulababy · 19/05/2004 17:51

Okay for those coming. You have two choices for meet up.

12:30 - Zoobys, Winter Gardens

Or I am meeting Lisa and Gingerbear off the tram at 12 o'clock (as they haven't been before)

OP posts:
Lisa78 · 19/05/2004 17:51

both maisystar! You can meet us at 12 at the Cathedral tramstop, but then we are heading for Zoobys for 12.30!

Lisa78 · 19/05/2004 17:51

she beat me again!

Hulababy · 19/05/2004 17:53

Lisa - not sure of milk/food warming. It's just a little coffee shop type thing. They do do hot drinks so it is whether or not they will stand it in hot water for you. Alternatively, could you bring a flask of hot water and do it that way? Gosh, long time since I had the milk warming problems so trying to think of best idea.

For those meeting me at tram stop (or indeed in Zoobys):

I am quite short (okay, very) - 5 foot. I have long dark hair. I will have 2 year old DD with me. And we will have her big, black 3 wheeler pushchair.

You can see us on here

Lisa78 · 19/05/2004 18:15

Oh I'll just risk it - if its a little shop, they'll probably bring me a jug of hot water

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 18:20

hello again

sorry for shouting at you Lisa.

I am also a shortie - 45'23" with wild dark blonde curlyish shoulderlength hair.

The interchange walkway thingy is the bridge to the station just outside m&s exit upstairs

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 18:21

errm 5 feet 3 inches that should say!

Hulababy · 19/05/2004 18:49

Lisa - if you get really desparate then afterwards you an always pop down the road to my apartment (only 5 minutes - in city centre) to feed him there

katzguk · 19/05/2004 22:35

can't believe i'm stuck in warwick at a GIC conference whilst your having a yummy lunch at zoobys. not fair. not fair.

at least one plus in internet access in the bedrooms so can still mumsnet!!

please can we all meet again soon, so's i can come too!!

WedgiesMum · 19/05/2004 22:56

I think we should defnitely make it a regular event Katz, hope you have a good conference!

I'm sure Zooby's will be able to provide hot water for warming purposes. They are really helpful as well as making great food (and the sandwiches are MINE!!!!!!!) and good coffee.

But why is it that I always make friends with people who are about a foot shorter than me???? (OK so it's not that difficult as I am nearly 6 foot, but still!!!!!)

See you all Friday!

Hulababy · 20/05/2004 09:28
