Following on from the South Yorkshire meet up thread and the rain check on today's meet due to rain -

Weather depending, we can meet somewhere like the Botanical Gardens.

Suitable days and times?

I can do Monday and Fridays, generally any time.

can't make this friday, at a conference in warwick! yeah the excitement in my life is never ending.

would love to meet up again.

Lisa78 · 17/05/2004 13:07

I can come! I can come!!! Just tell me where, what time, and where to park!
(Or alternatively, will it be near meadowhall, cos that I know! I can get to any shopping centre blindfolded!)

ditsymum · 17/05/2004 19:53

I would love to come on Friday just give me a time and tell me where to turn up

Hulababy · 17/05/2004 19:58

Lisa - will probably have to be centre as WM is at work. But best way of doing it is not to park in town. Get the tram from Meadowhall instead... loads easier and only £2 or so at most.

Nice to see new faces!

Where does everyone fancy? How about Zooby's again in the winter gardens. Their rolls and paninis are so delicious And DD loves the banana roll, and the strawberry milkshakes.

I think WM usually can do about 12:30 - work lunch time, but sure she'll be around before then to confirm.

OP posts:
Lisa78 · 17/05/2004 20:27

Ok, I will drive to meadowhall and get the tram

Give me more details than that please? Where do I get the tram, which tram and where do I get off it
Then where do I go?
And can I get my pushchair on a tram?!

Hulababy · 17/05/2004 20:39

Hi Lisa

Park at Meadowhall and then make your way towards the interchange for the bus/train/tram stations. You can get to it by going through M&S - upstairs. You go over the bridge walkway and the tram is that way over. You can get any tram as they all go to the centre.

Where you get off exactly will depend on where we decide to go but will probably be Cathedral, Castle Square or Ponds Forge. If we go to Zoobys int he Winter Gardens it'll be Castle Square.

Pushchair is no problem at all - I take my big 3 wheeler on it all the time. There are no steps up and down so just wheel pushchair straight on. Park it in the disabled bay.

If you want I can meet you from the tram as I will be in town all morning - taking DD for her photos to be done at that side of town.
