Following on from the South Yorkshire meet up thread and the rain check on today's meet due to rain -

Weather depending, we can meet somewhere like the Botanical Gardens.

Suitable days and times?

I can do Monday and Fridays, generally any time.

yep so nice, food as good as the crosspool resturant. posh snack food!! its a bit expensive but well worth the treat. DH and DD both love it and we often have lunch there on a wednesday (DH has DD fort he day).

Lisa78 · 30/04/2004 19:58

so, are we having a meet up?
I nominate Hula as organiser!

maisystar · 05/05/2004 19:10

this fri, anyone?

Hulababy · 05/05/2004 19:39

LOL @ organiser

This Friday would be lovely BUT depends on DD's rash. She has spots all over and, although we think it is just a viral rash, not 100% sure. So need to keep her away from unvax children and babies, pg people, bunerable ones, etc.Hopefully by Friday she'll be fine and it'll have disappeared but who knows. Wouldn't want to put anyone at risk.

Next Friday would be good for me though

Hulababy · 10/05/2004 08:22

But if you go, have a cappuchino on me

Hulababy · 10/05/2004 09:24

I am going into town later today though if anyone is around for a coffee.

OP posts:
katzguk · 10/05/2004 10:04

what time later?

Hulababy · 10/05/2004 10:15

It'll be after lunch. Dh is coming home for lunch so we me and Dd will be off into town after 2pm. Need to go to Winter Gardens/Millenium galleries to pick up some leaflets (for a lesson I am doing on Thursday) and want to call in Lush too.

No other plans so rest of afternoon is mine.

OP posts:
katzguk · 10/05/2004 14:54

sounds good, i might take friday pm off work, got nothing booked in my diary so if your free could meet up then, i'm best leaving DD fro lunch at nursery and her nap so free from 2.30-3ish.

Hulababy · 10/05/2004 17:49

I am free anytime this Friday, but have no car - in the garage - so limited to town, or where I can walk to ot get tram too.

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm back!! Hope everyone is ok.

Will there still be a weekend meet up too as I am chained to my desk during the week with no escape permitted!

Hulababy · 13/05/2004 14:55

Hi PP. Will be a weekend meet ytoo - see the other thread! Hopefully some time in June but not arranged yet. Are you back online properly now, e-mail, etc?

I can do this Friday and next I have no car this week though - in the garage - so has to be somewhere I can get too easily via tram or walk. Can't face bus with pushchair, etc.

WedgiesMum · 13/05/2004 20:57

If you are doing a Friday meet around lunchtime and are in town can I come?? (But don't arrange anything around me IYSWIM) as Hula knows I work in Sheffield and would love to join in if you are doing a lunchtime thing in the city, but I will be childless as they are at school/nursery...

Hulababy · 13/05/2004 20:59

We have to do lunch sometime soon WM!

OP posts:
katzguk · 13/05/2004 21:45

i can do lunch tomorrow but like wedgiesmum i would be childless.

somewhere on west street or town would be fine i'm at the dental hospital next to the hallamshire hospital.

or later for afternoon tea and could have dd

Hulababy · 14/05/2004 08:25

If anyone fancies lunch today, how about the Forum? On Devonshire Street, next to the Green. Pretty nice food from what I remember and will accept children - sorry I have DD!

Or katzguk - I could do afternoon tea later on. Not sure where is best for that - how about the cafe at the Botanical Gardens. Not tried it since refurb so not sure what it is like.
