Hey, what are the reservations for? I seem to have a vague recollection that they wanted us out at 9:30... just you try and move my fat arse!! Not gonna happen.

Shall we show up at 6:30 and plant ourselves firmly in our territory?

Nanou1 · 13/12/2006 14:04

panic thought..... did i read somewhere on this thread that we were to spend 10 quid on a mystery recipient???? urgent as will need to pop out of the office quickly and discreetly to oblige! thanks

Nanou1 · 13/12/2006 14:08

might even by 9pm actually.... can;t remember. well talking about arse, try to move mine!!!! that should scare them! dont worry ; i'll show you a few tricks to build a barricade; amazing what you can do with tables and chairs, and forks and knives! WE SHALL NOT MOVE! hey?! L O L at a french and american making a scene in a london restaurant!!! PMSL

uwila · 13/12/2006 14:11

Okay, read my lips:

THEY SAID 9:30!! (even if they didn't)

DO YOU UNDERSTAND????

If they want to turn 13 hungry thirsty women away for an extra 30 minutes, they are stupid. (and I'll gladly tell them so)

uwila · 13/12/2006 14:13

I'll even bring on a thick Chicago accent just for entertainment value.

PortAndLemonaid · 13/12/2006 14:14
Nanou1 · 13/12/2006 14:16

. can't make it for 6.30 - sorry.... so will you answer my question re bringing a present??!!!! please!

pudding77 · 13/12/2006 14:25

We had thought about mystery gifts but then a couple of people said they couldn't - shall we still do it?

Nanou1 · 13/12/2006 14:30

hi! am on tight budget too but did not want to let someone down by not bringing anything. it may be a bit late now i think? you ok?

uwila · 13/12/2006 14:32

Shall we forget the gift idea since I don't think anyone has bought one.

pudding77 · 13/12/2006 14:33

Hi nanou, not too bad, just trying to do a bit of xmas shopping but have no idea what to get my dad & dh!!

I agree it's probably too late - shall we leave it for this year?

snowfallatxmasmum · 13/12/2006 14:39

about the gift completely slipped my mind and no time to purchase either sorry
dh just called saying he might be a little late

looking forward to seeing you all later

best of luck with the exchange of contract

PortAndLemonaid · 13/12/2006 14:40

Is anyone else going to be in Richmond early? I'm probably going to go straight from work rather than going home first, so at present it looks as though I'll be wandering around aimlessly. If anyone's in a similar position I could wander more purposefully in the direction of (e.g.) a pub....?

Paddlechick666 · 13/12/2006 14:59

have we dropped the gift idea? hope so! haven't time to get anything and as ever the budget is tight.

is anyone else totally exhausted?

uwila, thanks for offer but not sure what time i'll get away from the house. need to get dd settled.

great news on the sitter situation tho.

qokka, will be good to see you too! the dhs, grandmas and nannys are coming up trumps tonight huh.

except 2cute, sorry you won't be there mate Xmas Sad

trying2bgood · 13/12/2006 16:25

Have a great time tonight ladies! Have a drink for those of us who won't be there!

MrsBojangles · 13/12/2006 16:47

hi ladies, don't think I can make it tonight. Xmas Sad

Had dd attached to me all day and now I'm feeling queezy. Hoping it's just due to frequently holding dd's sick bucket and inhaling 'lovely' smell but with the luck I'm having recently I'm fully expecting to come down with whatever it is dd has...

Uwila how shall we go upon you getting your frames?

uwila · 13/12/2006 17:02

Are you still there lomonaide? I could show up a bit early. But, first, must get out big stick and swing it at severl co-workers.... fricken idiots I tell ya.

uwila · 13/12/2006 17:03

Oh, yes, pictures. Not sure. What do you suggest?

snowfallatxmasmum · 13/12/2006 17:03

Bad bad Senor SFX.

PortAndLemonaid · 13/12/2006 17:11

Am still here, but about to leave...

I'll try CATing you my mobile number -- will leave it in the hands of fate whether it gets to you in time.

uwila · 13/12/2006 17:18

How bout the Irish pub near the station (near Pizza Rustica).

uwila · 13/12/2006 17:20

I've catted you my mobile. Couldn't find a cat from you in my inbox.

ComeOyefaithfulVeneer · 13/12/2006 17:21

Well not today but hopefully tomorrow, but still looks promising for the 22nd. I just want it all to be over .

PortAndLemonaid · 13/12/2006 17:22

Your CAT not arrived yet, either (Tech must be busy having a life...)

Will hang out in Irish pub on spec. Mid-light blue top, black trousers, with a copy of the Independent probably, in case I'm not remembered from Escale.
